Ewww Samay. Nah he just used Maya for her body. Maya needed a true man in her life which Arjun was at times, but then he mostly failed to be.
Are we ignoring her FB story here, wherein she was entering into a shady deal with a crook-knowing well what he wanted from her- & then went and back-stabbed him , rightly so, once the deal was done?! Never mind, at what cost she acquired the control of company back in her fold!Maya was better off as a single. She didn't want to love as she feared that it will make her weak and rightly so. Maya wouldn't have proposed to Arjun if Jhanvi had not pushed her into doing that. When She was single she only had to face Ashwin but after her marriage she had to face morons like Vandana, Saanjh, Arjun himself and Ayaan. Forgot about others, even if Arjun was true and sincere to her without doing stupid things like drinking at the bachelor's party and telling the shortcut to become rich, getting up from the mandap at the mid of marriage, restaurant amd holi incident, Maya wouldn't have got an opportunity to be bad. Maya got multiple opportunities to become bad but not a single opportunity to show her good side.

Maya has been a shrewd business woman knowing well everything has got a certain price, in life!
The point of recalling FB here is- that Maya did ask Rajiv if he would love her or not, which he flatly refused with a sermon on love!
Later they traded 'petrol-burning' tamasha to prove a non-existing love as some kind of black humour!
That Is the other way round. It was Rajiv who said he loves her and wanted her body to fight her case. She tricked him into burning himself because he was lusting her. In their conversation Maya did tell Rajiv the difference between him and Arjun when he had kidnapped her.

She made Rajeev as Samay and Rajeev has returned with same madness and possessiveness. She goes into flashback where Rajeev kisses her and she does not react. He asks what happened. She says she is thinking why broken heart's sound is not heard, why someone we love does not love us, why heart becomes stone and loving stone is not easy. Samay says love is name given to cheap needs, there is nothing like that. Maya says she is finding love in him. He says he does not have time for that, if she does not want to deal, he has other options, trying to walk out. She holds his hand and says he will find many options and not Maya. Out of flashback, Maya says she has failed, earlier Samay was under her control, now she is under his control, she is scared. . . .
