This is not possible, because there was no Ayan marriage or Simmi pregnant till the time of Maya's supposed death, and there is a huge difference between a 3 months old kid and a new born so if at all Arohi is Arya's child then the entire family knows about it

One may also look at the following while trying to figure out parenthood of Arohi!

1 . Maya attempted to almost kill Ayaan, while she was carrying her bandar! And Ayaan was the only one who was troubling her & teasing her and her bandar, unmindful of her advanced stage in pregnancy!
Given the level of animosity between Ayaan & Maya, he will be the last person , in this planet, to support a child mothered by Maya!

2. Simi would be equally abhorrent to support a plan of Maya, after what she did to a person whom she eventually married! Simi's marriage plan got totally screwed up after Ayaan got implicated in the false rape attempt case!! Later, it was established that Ayaan was innocent & Maya was responsible for his sufferings in jail!

3. Now, these two get married & Simi gets pregnant & then dies leaving behind a child! She has parents, a husband & whole of Mathur-Sharma-Mehrotra family members around her, before she dies , leaving behind Ayaan & a child! this is what we hear now!

4. Maya's child should be around six while, Ayaan's child can not be more than four!

Age calculation of Ayaan's child : New Leap is for five years! Assuming, the child was born after Ayaan's marriage & that took place almost immediately, when the leap commenced, the maximum age of child could be not more than 4 years & a couple of months at max!

Age calculation of Maya's child :
-After Maya's bandar was born, 3 months leap happened when Maya was in hiding!
- Then Maya was captured, sentenced & waited for some time in Jail for hanging!- easily 4 or five months would have lapsed during that time! Then comes Leap period of five years! So, a total of 5 years & 8 months, a minimum age for the child!

What does it mean?
When Simi was about to deliver her new born child, Arohi would not be a new born child , in stead, a child of one year & six months!
The difference between the ages of two children! ( one would be 5 yrs 8 mths & other would be 4 yrs 2 mths if both are to be compared on a timeline, as of now!)

Either Maya must have told Simmi that she is carrying Ayans baby (after rape incident) and asked Simmi to take care of ayans child.And Simmi might have told ayan she was pregnant and she got to know after ayan got aressted and was in jail...something like that

Or we all saw after maya cmng back from treatment ayan was targeting her...have he already asked hospital people to take maya child away from her...so that he can seprate Arya...bcz he said to maya its only because of that child Arjun is still with her...And he will free his brother from this relation

Quite possible...may be when baby was born Arjun already send him somewhere and made doctors to say that Maya gave birth a dead baby

@bold1 : Simmi & her family believed that Ayaan was innocent! She even gave her testimony in the case! If she married finally Ayaan, it means that her faith in Ayaan's innocence was intact till their marriage & even after that, perhaps! No way, she could buy Maya's word against Ayaan's!

@bold2 : Ayaan was fighting for his life in ICU, till he sent Saanjh to protect when Maya was stalking Vandana! He would have hardly known the events happened after his terrible encounter with Maya! Again, there is noway he could second guess that Maya would have pre-mature delivery & bandar could be taken away etc etc while he wasn't even sure if he would survive!

Ok after watching yesterday episode we can forget first option.

But the second option can be considered.
Was it a premature birth?
I belive it was almost around 9 months.

Ayan can buy a doctor..Even before his accident might have planned...
