Part 2
All the patients get ready to take the medicine. Sister Teresa calls out the numbers. Everyone comes to drink the syrup & swallow the tablets. It is Samay's turn.
Teresa: What is your name?
Samay: My name is Samay. My friends call me Samay. Is the medicine bitter?
Teresa: Initially it is but it will be fine in a couple of days.
Samay: I will have it after a couple of days.
Teresa: You won't agree like that.
She calls the assistant & said, "Stuff the tablets in his mouth."
Samay: No need. I will have it.
He drinks the syrup & swallows the tablets.
One of the inmates said, ventually, you had to take it."
Samay: I said I will have & I did that.
Dr. Khurana comes & asked, "How can Sister Teresa enter the without permission? What were you people doing?
The other nurse said, "We tried but she had entered by then."
Khurana: No need of any explanation. The hospital rules, regulations, timings, work allocation is all decided by me. Whoever does not abide to them need not come here. Sister Teresa is terminated."
Samay imagines the rap song about Dr. Khurana
Bas Bas Bas meri baath sunle...
He starts laughing. Dr Khurana goes to Samay & asked, "re you new here?"
Samay: Yes.
Khurana:Then why are you showing your teeth?
He leaves.
One of the inmates come & tells Samay, "Don't mess up with that man."
Samay: Who is he?
Inmate: He is Dr. Karnal Khurana. He worked in the army earlier. He is very strict.
Dr. Khurana checks Samay's file. He said, "He belongs to a rich family. He lost his parents. He has one brother & 2 sisters. His brother took the special permission from the court for the private hospital. That is why they brought him here."
He shows the blank check.
Sunil: What is his dad's name?
Khurana: Retired judge Jaganath Ahuja.
Dr. Sunil remembers the moments with them.
Flashback
Jagan: Wow, you have topped the district in the medical field. I am proud of you.
Sunil: Only with your help it was possible.
Jagan: Not because of my help. Your parents were working for me. It is only by your efforts that you have come up. God bless you.
He hands the money to Samay, "Give that money to Sunil."
Samay: For what we are giving this money?
Jagan: He wants to study further. So we are giving him. If you fall sick, he can treat you.
Samay gives him the money.
Flashback ends
Dr. Khurana: What happened.
Sunil: Nothing.
The assistants bring Samay to Dr. Khurana.
Samay sees the bell on the table & presses it.
Khurana: Hey look up.
He looks up.
Khurana: Look down
Samay looks down.
Khurana: Look at me.
Samay looks at him.
Khurana: Looking at you itself, I understood that you are a crook. Pay attention & listen to what I am going to say. If any of the patients don't listen to me I be very strict with them. Within one second we punish them severely. Don't give me that opportunity even by mistake. You ma go now.
Samay was leaving. Dr. Sunil calls him. Samay turns back & goes to him.
Dr. Sunil: Do you recognize me.
He wears the specks & said, t is me."
Samay: Yes.
Sunil: where did we meet?
Samay: You were near that hawaldaar.
He leaves.
The next day, nurse calls everyone to have the tablets. Samay has all of the medicines except one capsule. He starts playing with it.
Dr Maya sees him. She said, "This tablet is meant for swallowing. Not for playing."
Samay: Who are you?""
Maya: I am a doctor.
Samay: So have this.
Maya: Shut up & have it.
Samay: If I don't then.
Maya beats him & said, "Are you going to have it or not?"
Samay puts the tablet in his. Maya leaves.
Samay takes it out of his mouth & throws it.
