Arjun takes gets into the train and gets down at Mumbai.

He comes to the auto stand and asks the auto driver, "Are you coming?"

Auto Driver: Come.

Arjun: I am talking about the Rickshaw.

Auto driver: Do you think I will make you stand in the hot sun? I will drop you wherever you want but if you have brought the luggage, there will be extra charge.

Arjun: I don't have any luggage.

Auto Driver: Have you come from outstation?

Arjun: Yes

Auto Driver: Did you come running from your house?

Arjun: No, I have left the house.

Auto Driver: Do you have affair with any girl?

Arjun is speechless.

Auto Driver: When you can have an affair, why do you feel shy? Do you have a girlfriend?

Arjun: Yes.

Auto Driver: What is her name?

Arjun: Maya.

Auto Driver: Come sit inside the rickshaw.

Arjun gets into the rickshaw.

AD: Where do you want to go?

Arjun: I want to go to Maya's house.

AD: Which Maya?

Arjun: Film star Maya. She is a superstar. Don't you know her?

AD: Then get down from the rickshaw, take a train and go back.

Arjun: Why?

AD: There are many people like you who come to Mumbai in pursuit of a film star. Some come here for SRK, Some come for Salman Khan, some guys come for Madhuri but not everyone's dreams gets fulfilled. By luck they get to see their shoes and veil. I am telling it for your good. If you make this mistake, you will also become an auto driver like me.

Arjun: Auto Rickshaw driver?

AD: I was living in Nashik. But after watching Himmatwala movie, I left my studies and came to Hyderabad. I stayed there for a month. Then I got to know that she lives in Chennai. When I went to Chennai, she had gone to Mumbai for shooting. I came to Mumbai to see her but I could not see her fully. Sometimes I could see her leg, sometimes hair but one fine day, she went with Boney Kapoor. That was the heartbreak for me.

Arjun: Sorry to know that.

AD: Can you drive the rickshaw?

Arjun became speechless.

AD: I have shared my experience to you but still you want to see Maya?

Arjun: I want to see her only once.

AD: Will you go home after seeing her?

Arjun: Yes.

The auto driver then gives him a lift and said, "This is your girlfriend's house."

Arjun gets down from the rickshaw and goes inside the bungalow. The security asked, "Where are you going?"

Arjun: Is this Maya's house?

Security: Yes, Welcome. What do you think? Is Maya's house a Taj Mahal or any other palace wherein anybody can buy the ticket and enter? Get lost.

Arjun: I am a big fan of hers. Uncle please let me see her just once.

Security: Do I look like uncle for you? There are thousands of fans like you who come here. Go away.

Arjun leaves reluctantly but turns back.

Security: Go from here.

While he was passing by the hotel side, the workers makes fun of him. One of the guys approach him & said, "You called him uncle right?"

Arjun is speechless.

The hotel boy calls one more guy & said, "Look who is here."

One more worker comes and asks, "What is your name?"

Arjun: My name is Arjun.

Worker: Your name does not suit with your personality. Where are you from?

Arjun: Pune.

The other boys said, "Even this person is from Pune. Where do you stay in Pune?"

Arjun: Shaniwarpet, Pandurang gully behind Hanuman temple.

Worker:Even I am from Pandurang gully. I was playing gully danda. What is your door no?

Arjun: 203

Worker: Oh, even I stay at the same door no. I stay on the top floor.

Both hug each other. All make fun of him.

The hotel owner comes out & asked, "What are you guys doing? Come in & do your work."

One of the workers said, "There is no problem from our side. This guy wanted to meet Maya."

He goes in.

Usman: Come here.

Arjun comes.

Usman: You have come to meet Maya?

Arjun: Yes.

Usman: Did you run away from home?

Arjun: Yes.

Usman: That is utter stupidity. Did you eat something?

Arjun: No.

Usman: It can be made out from your face that you didn't have anything.

He calls Tapan & said, "Give this guy something to eat."

Arjun: I don't have money.

Usman: That is the one remaining. You left the house and came all the way but spent all your money. Did I ask any money from you? Have your food.

Arjun: Let it be. I don't take anything that is free.

Usman: You don't have a single pie but have not given up your ego. When a person is hungry, even ego will not last long. Have something now.

Arjun: Can I get a job in your hotel?

Usman: What work can you do.

Arjun: I have not worked anywhere but I'm willing to learn.

Usman: Fine, you can join the duty from tomorrow. I will pay you Rs. 5000 & give you the accommodation.

Arjun finally has his food.

The next day, Arjun comes. He drops the cup accidentally. Usman stares at him angrily.

Arjun: I am sorry.

Usman: Do one thing. Don't do any work. That will be a big help for me.

Arjun sits outside near the tree till night.

Usman comes to him & said, "Did you feel bad when I told you not to do any work?"

Arjun: Not at all.

Usman: I mean to say that since you have newly joined, you need to see how others are working. You need to learn the work before doing any. Otherwise, it will result in a loss. Do you know Taj Mahal hotel?

Arjun: Yes.

Usman: It could have become mine. Once upon a time, I had a name & reputation in the market. I was the owner of many industries. Many rich guys coming in Mercedes & BMW cars used to greet me. As and when I was expanding, I had made my best friend as my business partner. From then on, my life took the U-turn. My partner cheated me in the business & ran away. From then on, I am only running this small hotel. My wife Farida ditched me. I don't have any of her things except the hairpin & that too the U pin. Life is very much unpredictable. You never know when your life will take the U-turn. Go and sleep now. You need to get up at 5 am to do the cleaning work. What kind of hotel I have? I have more employees than customers. Good night.

The next day, workers sing the song about Arjun & make fun of him.

Usman gets a call about the home delivery pizza order. He says, "There is an order for home delivery."

The workers asked: Who is the customer.

Usman: Maya. Who will go?

All of them come running & said, "I will go."

Usman looks at Arjun & calls him. All the workers start pulling Arjun's leg.

Usman: Stop it. You should never pull the joke like a chewing gum. Who will go?

The workers said, "Arjun."

Everyone wishes him,"All the best."

Usman blesses him

Arjun goes to Maya's house to deliver the pizza at her place.

Security Ramsingh comes out seeing Arjun.

Usman: Let Arjun in. They have placed an order at our hotel

Ramsingh lets him in. Arjun enters the house & admires the house. Maya's servant comes & asks, "What is the matter?"

Arjun: I am working in the nearby hotel. I have come to deliver the pizza. Her servant takes the pizza and said, "We will send the money to your hotel."

Maya comes out.

Arjun sees her and goes out jumping happily, leaving her servant shocked. Arjun comes running & dancing to the hotel. The background song is

Arjun: It is my wishful thinking. Where is she & where I am? She is a well-known film star and I am just a common person. My dream will remain as a dream. It will never be real.

Maya's dance sequence is going on at the production house. After the end of the shot,

The director said: Fantastic.

A person named Rikku comes & speaks to Maya. He said, "Nice dress. Who designed it?"

Maya: Manish Malhotra.

Rikku: He is a very good designer. I wanted to come here a way back but I was held up as Salman Khan wanted his photo as the cover page. I want to take your photo. On which film are you shooting now?

Maya: Hum aake dil main reh gaye. Hum aapse pyaar karne lage.

Rikku: Your film pehli nazar main was a hit. How much pay did you get? What was your character?

Maya: I don't know. My uncle knows.

Rikku: Every woman says my mom knows, my dad knows but in your case it is your uncle. God knows when this trend will get over.

Ashwin comes.

Maya: He is my uncle.

Rikku: Hello uncle.

Ashwin: stand up.

Rikku stands up.

Ashwin: Have you taken an appointment?

Rikku: I passed by this side. So I dropped in.

Ashwin: Leave right away.

Rikku leaves.

Ashwin to Maya: How many times should I tell you not to speak to anybody without my permission? If the press people prints wrong information, your image will go down & I will have to run from pillar to post to make things right. Be careful next time. There is a function tomorrow at Oberoi's at 10 am tomorrow. Now you go home.

Maya goes home.
