Arjun remembers his life after marriage which had happier moments initially but had turned into a gloom.

After the end of the song, Arjun greets everyone & leaves. Maya's doorbell rings. The person reminds her of the electricity bill payment.
Maya: I will tell my husband when he comes.
Arjun reaches home and sees the electricity bill. He yells at Maya, "What have you been doing all these days? You have not paid the bills."
Maya: If I was working that would have been different. I'm at home because my health does not permit me as of now. And there is hardly any money at home. You know very well that I am good at handling it but you tell me to manage within this and tell me to ask my parents. How long can they give?
Arjun: I have never stopped you from working. But it is not advisable for you to do the police work as you are pregnant.
Maya: I have decided to report for the duty. You had promised me to take care of Humaira that is the reason why I agreed to marry you. I ask you all the time about Samrat but no reply from you. For your information, I have had an abortion because it is too early for me to have a child which will be my security guard for 24/7. You have not even bothered to come with me for the checkup.
Arjun: Samrat's case is not the only responsibility I have. I am getting bigger cases like this. Have you ever consulted me before taking the decision to abort the child?
Maya: I could have asked you only when you are in talking terms. Whenever I try to say something, you get a phone call & you run away. You don't even be here during the night times. What are the other officers doing here that you are doing everything alone? Don't you have a life of your own? If I am not there, things have become horrible. Because of you, I have killed my child.
Arjun: Get out.
Maya: Yes, I have packed my bag. I am leaving.
Arjun is shocked. He realizes his mistake & said, "Maya, I am sorry. Please don't go. Whatever is there, we will sort out."
Maya: Unless I catch Samrat, I won't step into this house.
Maya leaves. Arjun misses the breakfast which Maya was preparing with her hands. He begins to eat outside. Maya goes back to her place.
Gunjan is getting ready for the function. Suddenly, she finds her chain missing & is searching for it.
Samrat pledges the chain and takes drugs with that money.
Gunjan's mom Ratan asks, "Where is the chain?"
Gunjan: I don't know where it has gone. I think someone has stolen it.
Ratan: If that is the case, we need to lodge a complaint. For now, you can wear this chain.
The next day, Ratan & Gunjan go to the police station. They are surprised to see Maya.
Ratan: Someone has stolen our chain.
Maya takes the written complaint.
Gunjan recollects the last time when she wore the chain & thinks, "Yes, when I hugged Samrat, it was there."
Gunjan calls Samrat. He picks up the phone & said, "Hi darling."
Gunjan: Have you seen my chain?
Samrat: Yes, it had fallen on the ground. I will give it when we meet.
The call gets disconnected.
Samrat steals the money from Tej's wallet and redeems the chain.
The next day, he gives the chain to Gunjan.
