Sanjh is right that everyone knows and Arjun should know maya is his boss.
But he calls her maya unlike rest of office.
He plays pranks with her unlike rest of office
Arjun was given weird punishment s instead of getting fired.

Arjun and maya have an interesting dynamic. Maya considers him an equal. She tries to send him to jail and fire him but he begs her for an alternative punishment. Maya tells him his punishment is 6 hours in the bathroom without a phone. A normal employee would never accept that punishment. For Arjun its an ego thing, he can not loose so he agrees. Then arjun becomes angry that maya sentenced him to 6 hours solitary bathroom confinement. So he pranks her by stopping the lift to settle the score.

Arjun does not respect his boss but craves to be apperiated by her. For arjun maya is the only one in the office he can talk to the rest of the office folks are scared he will fire them so they keep away from him.
