So if they feel Arjun has no feelings for Saanj why will they make her realize her feelings for him? One sided love can also affect their friendship that's why they shouldn't make her feel the love because it will give her pain and heartbreak later.I feel the reason they want Arjun and Saanj to gst married is because both are close to each other since their childhood, both understand each other,both care for each other,both share their feelings with each other and that's why they will be happy with each other if they get married.That's what everyone tries to convince saanj.Both of u understand each other so much so why don't u guys get married?But no one tells the same to arjun.
They're not making her realize her feelings for Arjun , they're asking and pushing her to propose Arjun and/or do some thing to secure/grab his affection/romantic attraction and strive to win his heart, because it's quite clear that Arjun is no where near the mental state where he can in fact consider let alone agree for marriage with Saanjh , even as a friend. If the two families bring such a proposal at this stage , Arjun will simply laugh it off , which'll make Saanjh feel really bad about herself .
Saanjh knows that she loves Arjun , come on she's not idiot , she fantacizes Arjun when some one drapes a veil over her head ,and the expressions she gives whenever some one hints about her feelings for Arjun , it's not that of a girl confused about her own feelings , it's an all-knowing-but-still-playing-coy kinda expression. but she's in denial because it's clear to her , since she knows Arjun better than any one else and can in fact read him like a book, that he harbours no such feelings for her , so she doesn't wanna take risk by taking the plunge and lose what she have- a precious lifelong friendship .
But her well wishers are worrying that Arjun will not stay single for long enough for Saanjh to muster courage and tell him , and once a guy like him falls for a girl.he'll remain loyal to that girl only. Honestly I don't blame them for doing so.
As we will soon see , their worries were, in fact , completely justified.
That's precisely why they're hurrying Saanjh.
