TOI: Ankit Siwach to play villain in Beyhadh 2-Prateek confirms

Ankit Siwach, who was last seen in ‘Manmohini’, has been signed on to play the new villain in ‘Beyhadh 2’. The actor tells us, “I am getting to play an anti-hero for the first time. I won’t call him the villain in Maya’s (Jennifer Winget) life; it’s just that they had a past, which didn’t turn out to be a fairy tale. It would be great to share screen space with Jennifer.”

This is his first show post marriage (Ankit tied the knot with Nupur Bhatia on February 4) and he is excited about getting back to work. The actor says, “This is also my third show with producer Prateek Sharma, which makes this outing even more special. ‘Beyhadh 2’ is a finite series and all characters are written well in advance and all of them have a specified beginning and ending revolving around Maya’s love life.”

Ask him if it would be challenging for him to join the show midway and he replies, “Jennifer, Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhry have already established themselves. My character will add to the drama and make it spicier.”

The actor says that though the ratings govern his decision when it comes to taking up a show, he didn’t think twice before signing ‘Beyhadh 2’. He says, “TRPs do influence one’s decision, but what matters most is the storyline and the impact of the character you are playing. Everything else can be taken care of,” he signs off.

Yeh kya naya siyappa hai .. what does it mean saying it dint turn out fairy tale.. why do they need so many anti heroes? Including maya is also dark..

What is Rudra doing? He is still oblivious to everything..

But I do feel he will be one of those missing faces in Mayas revenge

Wah kya baat hai. So they've decided to go down the typical route with this show as well. Memory loss and a new husband and what not. Good bye the day this happens.

Ankit Siwach will be interesting to watch though, especially after watching him in Rishton Ka Chakravyuh.

Is he a good actor. Seems to have a lean physique. Was flaunting on Holi day😆

He improved quite a bit in RKC. He had debuted in the show and when he first started, he stuck out as a non-actor amongst such refined actors. But over time he improved quite a bit. He looks a bit like Sidharth Malhotra so at first we would call him Sid's lookalike cause we didn't know his name.

Oye where is Shruthi? She was there in RKC as well.

They said a finite series and I was hoping for a track that doesn't include more characters at this point if time , memory loss has me disappointed ,why now and how will it exactly spice up the revenge of Maya except make Rudra miss her. So we have to wait till she regains her memory or how will they proceed further .so many questions.

But since beyhadh is known for wrapping up a track soon ,like rishi death was dusted off in a week , Mayra Marriage in a week and so did Maya intial fear of MJ, Diya was gone in a week and now Antara which give me hopes that this track will wrap up soon giving me my revengewala Maya back

Must find out his characters name and then we can guess what role is he playing. Waise bhi, I do not mind him playing a role in the show but please remove this Anu and Adi. They are really annoying and they better be doing some proper jasoos work.
