Now I know where I saw you. QH. 😆 I go back to the Forum and read the Archived threads. Yeah she looked funny in it. 😆 But I loved her portrayal yesterday. When MJ came to her, she looked like a parched woman desperate for her man's touch, but who'd resigned herself to rejection.

I hadn’t followed shows properly since a long time now. So had no clue about him!

Oh my gosh. I’m so sorry for any second hand embarrassment 😂 I was a teenager and extremely obsessive.. that’s my only excuse for my behavior back then 🥺

The way she swayed in desperation and today her realization... CLASS ACT! 👏

First and foremost, Jen looked stunning today. That black outfit with a pop of red was a good choice and for once, the makeup did not make her look exhausted. I don't know what is happening but makeup and wardrobe department needs rethink maya's look, Black outfits are fine but why does she look so washed out? perhaps add a pop of color in the form of lipstick or blush? Jen always looks beautiful but makeup needs work. Her look was a breath of fresh air today.

No that's alright. 😆 True!

Btw I saw the episode again. She did say Rudra ki Duniya. No doubt about it.

I noticed few more things. Some I mentioned in libran's thread. One I'll mention here that I forgot there.

When she mentions about being trapped in the past etc, the main focus is the Sudarshan chakra of Krishna probably symbolic of not only the Chakravyuh but also the passage of time. What goes around, comes around. And time will also provide her with the weapon like the chakra.

Yeah, so MJ is strong and powerful, while Antara is weak and helpless. I read a lot of Agatha Christie, and my psychological perception is based on her ideas, and not my original ones.😆 One of her books had this idea. MJ being this powerful detests such weak women. Weakness repels him while strength attracts him. There are men who are drawn towards weak women, and have this tendency to shelter them, there are men who are repelled by weak women, coz they are always in need of help and these men have no patience for it. Same goes for women too, not like they are any different. Maybe MJ is one of those men, and he's accepted his wife as a weak woman whom he doesn't care about but one he cannot do away with.

That is extremely true and I’ve seen these traits in real men as well. Few love the typical “shareef” girl who rely on them for their mundane everyday need and they generally find the self sufficient girl unattractive and vice versa. But my whole argument here is that men like MJ are shallow. Look at his callousness and the way he disregarded his wife today and has been claiming that her only duty is to keep his family glued.

He has put shackles around her and has restricted her in that specific area. She can’t breach it. He has threatened to replace her.

She might’ve been a very strong-spirited woman but he has reduced her to her current version.

I don’t think there’s any past relation between Rudra and Maya though.

Maya has her own way of interpreting the verses and there is her mum constantly reminding her to move on. But she is hell bent on her vengeance and seeks solace from her idol and books in every which way. Even while she was walking away from him in the rain sequence, she had clutched on to her book really close to her heart. They are her shields in every which way.

I love MJ's character, he is a POS but ashish plays him well and he is fun to watch. A character can be "good" but not a "good person" and MJ is definitely not the latter. He is a Chauvinist who thinks he is god, and everyone has to be under his thumb...rather under his foot. As long as everyone walks the line he has drawn, he will be a happy man.

I had no issues with him tbh. Grey characters are intriguing and when good actors portray them seamlessly onscreen, it’s a treat to watch.

The only reason why I developed a bitterness is the blatant disregard for his wife.. maybe it feels too real. I’ve seen women treated like dirt in my life.. so I could project my hatred onto that trait.

But everything else can be watchable and it’s always fun to dissect.
