The show was unique, it wasn't the same old love story we saw in every other show. It was new and it was beautiful. What made the show what it is today?
Bepanaah had an amazing cast esmeble. Each character played a prominent part.
Zoya played by Jennifer Winget was a beautiful and innocent girl. She was someone who believed everyone was good. Her perfect world comes tumbling down when she comes to know that her the person she loved the most betrayed her. Unable to take the news, she lives her life in denial constantly torturing herself in the process. As the show progresses and as Zoya faces struggles and trials in her life, she grows into a mature individual with same kindness and a tinge of innocence. She becomes a woman who still believes in love however doesn't blindly trust anyone else.
Aditya is fierce rebel played by Harshad Chopda. He is a person who has been part of a broken home. From childhood he faces trust issues and thus when his wife who he believes as his best friend, the person who his world revolves around betrays him, he breaks down to being a man who just wants to pent his anger and despair somewhere. He is in conflict with the world and as well as himself. Deep down thou, there still lies a broken man with a heart of a gold. Along his journey he grows into a responsible adult. Hes yet the same person who can fight the universe for his love and he does.
Along with great cast, Bepanaah had a unique story. A tale about a man and woman who get betrayed by their spouses. Even the concept is heard of, the show had a beautifully different story. Something you don't see every day.
Starting with the scenes. Even thou nok jhok between the leads is a very common thing in Indian television, these two had a very different way of arguing. Whether it was Zoya's unending urdu dialogues and lectures or Aditya's on point sarcasm, their scenes never failed to make us laugh.

We can't argue that their nok jhok scenes were epic and ones that can not be created again.
The show gave us many firsts. The first time when they cross their path at the bridge and Zoya's powering dialogue. The first time they both fall and it rains flowers. Their first dance.
How can we forget when they both spent the night together confessing to each other how they lost sleep since the unfaithful day. When Aditya fell asleep in Zoya's lap.
Can we forget Zoya following Aditya around to a point where he couldn't stand more And then her excuses. We all know she isn't a good liar. No one can forget African spider.
The day when reality hit Zoya hard so much that she couldn't cope anymore. Her attempt to suicide. And Aditya saving her. He couldn't let her go, not yet.
When they both started working together, no strings attached. And how Aditya took advantage of Zoya and made her call him Jahapana .
Their fake marriage, the scam they got stuck in. Aditya cheering Zoya up.
Them running away from the police. Comforting each other in the time of need.
Zoya's famous "hume yakeen hai". No one believed in Aditya except for her.
Their cute Ramadan scenes. Aditya taught his fake wife Zoya how to cook. Them in jail together and Aditya cheering Zoya up.
Zoya and Aditya finally moving on.
Years after how Aditya chased Zoya again. Their cute scenes as friends. Ice cream sharing, drunk encounters and what not.
When Aditya realised he fell hard for his Urdu Queen. His jealousy track.
And Aditya finally confessing. Him reminding Zoya that she deserved not just better but the best.
Who made Shaadi scenes more beautifully heartbreaking than AdiYa? From the haldi scenes to Aditya taking Zoya to the mandap..
No show utilised the song as good as they did.
Among all the trials and troubles, they finally confessed and got married.
They came their never ending sweet moments and a happily ever after.
Along with the scenes, the show had an amazing playlist. The title track "Bepanaah" as well as "Mere dil ko zaroorat hai" was an emotion we all could connect to.
Last but not the least the mind blowing dialogues and phrases. Whether it was Aditya's sarcastic one liners or Zoya's insightful quotes, each dialogue had been written brilliantly.
To the show and to 2 years of this journey we all shared. To AdiYa!
