B for Brownies.
She entered the living room with a plate full of them.
The sweet, mouth watering brownies.
It was a torture for her to make them and not to goof them down as she cut them to symetrical squares.
But the knives and spoons? They needed no cleaning.
She grimaced as she saw hands reach up and take her brownies.
She heard "oh Aliya, this is delicious." from every direction.
She tried to smile. Maybe it looked estranged.
"Aliya bete. Tum bhi khao na." Those words felt like honey drops to her ears.
Her hand shot out immediatly and took one.
Finally was the only thought in her head.
She took a deep breath and bit in the soft gooey piece.
Oh how heavenly it felt.
Her eyes fluttered close as her tounge swirled around it, sucking on it.
Color flooded her face as she felt it melt in her mouth.
She was in ecstasy.
She moved her tounge back and froth the roof of her mouth to get those sticky dollops of awesomeness down.
As she was done with her first bite,she licked her lips and pressed them together to stop moaning out loud.
With her eyes closed, she took the second bite.
She chewed slowly, savouring as her taste buds crackled with sweetness.
She was in heaven of course.
This time as she gulped down the piece, she felt the sweetness flow everywhere.
Her eyes fluttered open and she came to reality.
She took in a deep breath as she glanced around the table.
No one seemed to notice her small escapade into brownie land.
Until her caramel ones met his dark chocolate eyes.
He was lounging on his chair,his I-phone in his hands,playing Clash Of Clans.
He saw her coming to the table with the plate in her hands, her eyes fixed on them hungrily.
He smiled a bit when she pouted as everyone took the brownies.
Her brownies.
He groaned internally as he saw color flood her face and the series of emotions that passed her face as she savoured her brownie left him breathless.
She opened her eyes and examined her surroundings. And her gaze met his.
She bit her lips softly,unknowingly,and scrutinised Zain.
And then a mischevious smile adorned her face.
She took another piece of and dug her teeth into it, her eyes never leaving his.
Smirk slowly, she sucked in her cheeks,pouting as it melted again in her mouth.
She struggled to keep her eyes open,to look at him since the deliciousness of the brownies and his smouldering gaze made her feel something else entirely.
Her tounge darted out and licked her lips.
He gripped the table.
Her smirk even more evident,she bought her fingertips to her mouth.
She sucked on her index finger,licking it clean and then proceeded to do the same with her others.
His parted slightly as she liked her pinkie and popped it out,his grip on the table even tighter,his knuckles white.
The silence that fell upon them made her look around and she realised that they had an audience.
Her mamu,mami and Nafeesa Bhabhi were smirking whereas Shazia was doubled over in full blown silent laughter.
Fahad Bhai was gaping like a goldfish and the children too engrossed in the brownie world to notice her misdemeanours.
Smilinig sheepishly,she grabbed another brownie and ran away.
Her sudden departure caused him to look around. Mamu looked at him pointedly while amusement twinkled in his eyes.
Fahad said in a low voice-"Uske peeche nai jaa rahe?"
His chair made loud scraping noise and he bolted to the steps,only to come back to snag another brownie.
Ignoring all the catcalling and whistling,he smiled.
Watching her eat Brownies has become his new favourite pasttime.
His eyes gleamed as he entered their room.
She was sitting on the sofa,legs curled underneath her.
She chortled as she glanced upon him.
"Nikal kaise aye?"
He did not speak but opened his palm.
In it sat a thick fat brownie.
Her eyes widened.
"Last one." He said huskily.
Her gaze snapped to his face.,her look calculating.
"Kya loge?"
He smirked and licked the brownie.
She looked at him pleadingly.
"Well, its mine. But.." he drawled as he sat on the bed.
"Par?" She said,eager.
"If you really want it.."
"I do."
"How about?"
She came and sat beside him.
"About?"
"A kiss?"
She looked appalled.
Sure they had teased each other, edged each other with their not so covert actions, but they never really had kissed.
"A what?"
She whispered.
"A kiss,Mamu Ki Bhanji." He pressed his lips against her ear.
"On my lips."
Her stomach clenched as she shivered.
"Zain please. Anything else."
"That's my final offer." He said,amusement oozing from his voice.
He did not really expect her to kiss him, but what is the harm in having a bit of fun?
But he really had underestimated her glutton for brownies.
He found himself beneath her,her hair hiding them from the world.
She rested her hands besides his head and leaned into him.
"If I kiss you kitkit, you'll give me the brownie."
His breath caught. Was she really?
He nodded.
"Pakka?" Her lips were inches away.
He looked into her eyes as he engulfed her in his arms.
"Promise." He whispered.
She neared his lips,apprehensive.
His breath quickened.
"Aliya" he said, his voice thick.
And then her lips were upon his,unmoving.
His hands held her tightly as he tilted his face.
They were slowly starting to kiss.
He licked her lower lip as she sighed.
He deepened the kiss as she collasped on him, weighing him down.
But he did not mind at all.
They both lost themselves in their first kiss.
She parted them,inviting him to explore her.
He could taste the chocolate on her.
And that made it more enticing for him.
More tantalising.
Their tounge's battled for domination,their kiss, reflecting their relationship.
She smiled into the kiss and both drew back for air.
She could feel his heart beat fast under her palm that rested upon his chest.
He touched her forehead with his.
"Do I get the Brownie now?" She breathed.
"You know the best thing about them?"
She looked at him curiously.
"It tastes best when you taste them off someone else."
And he offered her the brownie that lay there long forgotten.
She bit the brownie and kissed him.
It wasn't the last brownie.
But she need not know that.
