Chapter 11
Eros sniffed the rose he just plucked, he had a thing for roses since being the love of god. Sensing someones presence behind him he turned around.
Apollo escorted aaliya outside tp the backyard garden of underworld palace, his hand on the small of her back. Aaliya guessed... al gods seemed to be so gentlemanly and kind.. instead that devil of a god.. zain.
As eros turned to look at them, aaliya noticed that the god of love looked even more gorgeous from close. She smiled meekly at him.
Apollo stood by aaliya and took the lead to introduce them...
Apollo: " Aaliya.. this is eros.. and eros... this is the girl you were so excited to meet... aaliya... "
Aaliya smiled looking at eros and nodded her head saying a soft hi. But eros didnt say anything, he looked lost.. staring at aaliya in a rather hypnotized manner.
Now.. aaliya was getting nervous under eros's gaze, she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear awkwardly. Apollo cleared his throat softly at first, then when it didnt work he did it louder. This time eros flinched a little and snapped back from his hypnotized state.
Eros: " Ohh.. sorry... aaliya, its really pleasure to meet you... "
Aaliya smiled in response... " No.. the pleasure is mine... "
Then looking down for a blink second aaliya again looked at eros...
Aaliya: " Actually.. to be honest, I really dont have any idea.. what I'm feeling. This... "
She waved her hand around... " this all seems so unreal... "
Eros took a step near her... " I can understand what it must feel like and.. "
Aaliya: " And ?? "
Aaliya questioned as eros paused for a second...
Eros: " And.. its totally sad how zain behaved with you. I heard he abducted you.. is it true... ? "
Aaliya sighed.
Aaliya: " I really cant wait to get out of here and go home. "
She felt a big hand over hers sqeezing gently.. providing the much needed comfort.
Eros: " I will see to it aaliya... I cant promise anything as it's not my domain but I promise to try... "
Alliya felt tears prickling at the back of his eyes, she blinked them away rapidly not wanting anyone to see her cry that moment. As if trying to distract herself from the emotions she was feeling she looked at the place where apollo was standing but found no one.
Aaliya: " Where is apollo.. ? "
She asked amused, she even didnt notice him going away. Was she that much engrossed talking to eros ?
Eros chuckled, the next moment aaliya felt eros putting a hand around her shoulders.
Eros: " Look over there... "
Alliya saw apollo talking with sitting on the gazebo looking at at.. what looking intently at what looked like a over sized hound dog... the bizzare thing was it had three heads and looked quite ugly. Apollo seemed to enjoy petting it.
Eros explained before aaliya asked anything.
Eros: " Its hades favourite dog and apollo over there.. he's quite fond of animals. "
Aaliya was still in a state of shock... " But three heads !! "
Eros grinned... " Welcome to underworld honey.. "
Aaliya didnt know what to say.

For the tenth time zain shuffled his position in his throne, to say ... he was uncomfortable would be an understatement.
Al the gods were sat on their thrones in the thrones chamber of olympus palace, well... only apollo and eros were the only ones absent. Apolloe was in underworld to heal aaliya, that zain already knew but where was that scoundrel eros... the so called cupid in diapers. Well.. it was how the humans imagined eros to be.. in diapers. Zain stiffled the vicious laughter in his throat as it threatened to erupt its way out. Laughing like an insane wouldn't be called decent among all these high class gods.
Zeus who was sat in the most magnificent throne, cleared his throat gaining everyones attention. As the king of all gods and the seniorest of them all... zeus looked like an old man in his late sixties. His shoulder length white hair and similarly white beards gave a strong vibe of supiriority, when he spoke while resting an elbow on the armrest of his throne... it expressed royalty and domination.
Zeus: " We already were informed by hades.. about the recent events with zain. A human girl recently had been blocking his power of death... "
Zain looked around to the faces of all gods and godesses, some of them looked amused.. shocked and some of them found it hilarious.
Zain gritted his teeth, it was embarrassing. Hades who sat across from zain asked...
Hades: " And now that girl is in underworld, we dont have any prove that she is not innocent in all this... "
Dionysus.. the god of partying and alcohoal was slightly drunk.. like always. He chuckled...
Dionysus: " That's the first alive person living in your domain hades.. thanks to zain... "
He chuckled more when zain glared at him.
Zain: " At that time it looked only right to take her to underworld.. either ways.. her soul was meant to arrive there long time back.. "
Hades scoffed... " Collecting a soul and abducting an alive human being.. are two different things zain... "
Hera.. the goddess of marriage, family and home making.. gasped in surprise, zain rolled his eyes. He knew hera was aready aware of the whole story... exaggerating things were just her favourite job to do.
Hera: " You abducted a woman... that's such a humiliation to us all... "
Zain punched the armrest of his chair.
Zain: " How is my actions be a humiliation to you all ?? "
Being zeus' wife and the queen of olympus.. hera was all wrapped up in attitude.
Holding her chin up.. she raised her voice as well...
Hera: " That's because... you did something which had degraded the reputation of being a god.. being fair and kind and other qualities that gods do possess. "
Zain scoweled even more at that, some bitter words threatened to roll out of his mouth which would definitely make hear fall off of her throne. But one glance at daggers hades was throwing towards himwith his eyes and zain chose to do the otherwise... silence and ignorance.
Zeus had his brows creased, it wasn;t clear.. whether he was irritated with zain or his wife hera.
Zeus: " Enough... I dont want any arguments over here, we are trying to find a solution of this problem. Does anyone have any idea regarding that... "
Suddenly everyone started speaking.. all at once.. decluding hades, zeus, zain and aphrodite.
Aphrodite... the goddess of beauty yawned.. her eyes droopy. Looked like she was more eager to complete her beauty sleep.
A few minutes of the chaos and then silence fell after one booming yell from zeus...
Zeus: " Shut up... "
There was now pin drop silence, everyone looked at zeus with wide eyes. They looked aplogetic. Suddenly.. zain had this urge to spread his wings and fly away like a comet from this mental assylum.. they called heaven.
A thunder cracked among the clouds upwards almost deafening everyone. Zeus represented thunderbolts... his emotions and sentiments made his power to show off in a a dangerous way.
At the same time a mass of white smoke began forming in the middle of the chamber. Everyone's attention were now centered upon that as they sensed a new presence among them.
Zain looked flabbergasted at the goddess of fates... Thilia appeared...
The beautiful goddess lowered her head before zeus in a gesture of respect, zeus nodded adoring her slightly puffy eyes. Thilia was always busy with her angels... writing.. and predicting all creatures fates, hardly she got the time to rest. Zeus had been always adored her as his younger sister, though she hardly came out of her domain.
Zeus had sent her an invitation of todays gathering of all major gods and goddesses.. he presumed that she wouldnt arrive. But as she did.. zeus' earlier bad mood seemed to reduce appreciatively.
Zeus: " Thilia... I am glad that you decided to come... "
He hoped that she would sit on her throne and they could begin the discussion. But when she declined with a smile.. instead turned to look at zain, everyone including zain himself became curious...
Thilia: " Zain... I just came here for a short time, just to let you know about what is written on your fate.. "
Zain was now curious beyond limits, what was she talking about ??
Zain: " My fate ?? "
Thilia nodded positively with a smile...
Thilia: " When.. zeus sent me the invitation regarding the girl you took into underworld, I realised that I was late to warn you.. to let you know about this... "
Zain was almost about to jump out of his throne in tension at where things were going.
Thilia: " But its time to late you know about your fate.. about what is destines for you... "
Everyone present around were as much curious and oveer the edge as zain...
Thilia: " ___ The human girl shall have the power over the God of death, she will fascinate him.. conquer him and walk into his territory... and he is meant to love her, cherish her and protect her as the mortal shall be the destined beloved of the immortal death... ____ "
There was a long few minutes of complete deafening silent after that and then the silent broke by a loud booming laughter. Everyone was already staring at zain and now they glared at him for laughing like that at the words of fate.
With great difficulty after a good multiple minutes... zain began slowing down his rofling and wiped a stray drop of tear from the corner of his one eye. He didnt remember when was the last time he had laughed like this.. but what he just heard seemed so damn hilarious.
Yes.. he agreed that aaliya was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes upon, her innocence and beauty couldnt be even compared to any of the goddesses up here in olympys... she was that much serene.. that much magnificent. But.. she being his destined.. that was way too much.. it was hard to digest. Laughing it away.. was the best thing he could think of at that moment. Now which god had a mortal beloved.. now that must be a lame joke, thilia had turned out to be a funny goddess these days.
Zain was trying to catch his breaths when zeus spoke...
Zeus: " What was so funny in that zain ? "
Hades was again glaring at his son. Before zain could answer... thilia said...
Thilia: " Its alright zeus, I can see that zain is having a hard time taking his own fate... "
Zain had a smile on his face, a disbelieving one.
Zain: " Because... you joked really nice thilia.. "
Suddenly he noticed the serious look on thilia's face. A thunder boomed nearby, zain realised that zeus was getting angry...
With a shocked... amused... and horrid look.. zain now stared at a smiling thilia, he gulped... it was all true.
Aaliya was his destined.
