Chapter 11 Teaser

"Maya, I can't believe Zain lied to me! I mean I trusted him so much and then he lied to me! I never thought he would do anything like that!" I said, frustrated.

Ever since I had come back from the mall, I was pacing back and forth in my room and telling Maya what had happened.

"Aaliya, relax. I'm sure he didn't mean to do anything on purpose! He probably just didn't think it was right to tell you. And why does it matter to you so much if Zain lied to you our not? He's nothing more to you then a friend, right?" Maya replied.

I stopped pacing and thought about what Maya said. She was right. Why was I thinking so much about Zain lying to me? He wasn't my boyfriend or anything. We were just friends. Right?
