First off kudos to your bravery!! π
ππ Thank you! I swear I was soo afraid.. π³
This must have been tough to write!
Actually writing it was not difficult as it is a very basic topic. To keep it decent and nothing OTT was a little difficult though. Especially here, because there is a kid in the cast and this forum is pretty disciplined because of that too... π
Second, like all your other stories, the back and forth rapport between the two of them is great! You have no idea how much I enjoyed the Bon jealous one!!
Yeaaaa! This back and forth easy communication between Ani and Bon is what I expect from them in the show also. Abhi bhi, and later too. Also, I am really happy that you liked Bon's jealousy wala OS too... π³π€
I laughed like crazies on reading about the sex ed you must have given to your sister... π I was given one by my elder sister too. And honestly, I salute her for doing a wonderful job. She explained everything in a very calm and decent manner, and not once did she make me feel if she was uncomfortable talking about it or not. For me, that was an amazing experience because it left such a positive impact on me. Aise hi kerna chahiye elders ko. ππΌ
While they will never show this on the show, it really is needed!! I was horrified when they showed Bon being married off n sent to her sasural with what is a stranger and his family. When the good touch, bad touch episode I felt overjoyed that Ani is doing it himself But the irony made me a bit weepy that nobody else thought of that. Like her Ma sent her with lessons on being a good wife But not this. And yes, I know this is a moot point considering the era it is set in but even today informed choice seems to be the missing word!
You are absolutely right! I felt really bad for Bondu too. Bechari ko sasural mien kaise rehna hai sab sikha dia, but such basic and extremely important things her mom missed out in hopes that her pati would explain to her when the right time comes. Now, Bondu was lucky that Ani was a good husband. How many husbands do we think in those olden days were there to wait for their wives to grow up and do the deed? Almost zero, I believe. Even in today's modern era, husbands consider it as their basic right and do not even bother much about things like 'marital rape.' Tou abhi raise hota hai aurton ke sath, uss zamanay mien tou kia kia hota hoga...
Apologies for the rant but anyways, you are awesome for broaching this!! π€
I loved talking to you... Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me. π€β€οΈ
