So while writing the story I honestly had no idea that it will be loved so much. And as all of you wanted a part 2 of it, so here it is. 😳
Hope you will shower the same love for it as you all had for part 1.🤗

Part - 2
"baas tumse ek wada chahiye Bondita, tumhe agar mujhse kuch v kehena ho toh bejhijhak kehena, kabhi ye mat sochna ki mujhe bura lagega.. Tum jab bhi jo bhi faisla logi me humesha tumhara sath dunga... mujhe tumse ye wada chahiye Bondita..aur ye baat humesha apne dimag mein rakhna??"
These words were ringing in her ears as Bondita Roy Choudhury was sitting in her room holding the piece of her achievement in her hand, her gold medal that has made her a barrister now. But the topper of the university, gold medalist Bondita Roy Choudhury was not happy with the achievement, as she was faintly remembering those words said by her patibabu 3 years ago.
Yes 3 years has passed pretty soon. And next day she is going to her home, her village Tulsipur, where her heart resides. She is going to meet her patibabu after 3 long years. And she smiled knowing as promised he would be standing at the very place waiting for her, where he had once let her go to reach her dreams. But some thoughts about him was bothering her. When she left Tulsipur she was still in her teens but now being 21 she was well able to understand emotions as childishness has left adding a bit of maturity in her.
In these years she had studied hard and the occasional letters from her patibabu had inspired her when she felt low. And now that she has fulfilled his dream, their dream. Her thoughts were now focused on their relationship. She wondered what would be the future of the relation they shared?? Can they live their life as a normal couple?? Or her returning back would be the end... And her heart pondered with such thoughts and she gave a break to her imagination.
Rather her mind drifted to their days spent together and somewhere her heart told her, her patibabu too feels something for her. She didn't wanted to give any false hopes to herself but yes she felt she is now able to read those eyes which she couldn't 3 years back. She understood the goodbye smile of his had hide in them numerous emotions that she had failed to notice the very moment. And now she was determined to find out what lies in the heart of her patibabu for her. She was now eager to read those eyes that hide depths of emotions in them.
Looking at the far horizon Anirudh Roy Choudhury was standing restless waiting for the ship to arrive, with numerous thoughts going on in his mind and his heart beating rapidly. The wait felt long for him but he failed to understand that he has arrived much early than the scheduled time instead was blaming the ship for the delay.
Cold breeze passed her face as Bondita stepped her feet on the soil of her homeland. It felt as if she was freed from the cage that had hold her, to come back to her place. And Her eyes looked up to search for that pair of dark eyes in the crowd. And it lit up as she found them. Her patibabu was standing exactly at the same place where he had once bid her a goodbye and her eyes teared up, with that memory and also seeing him infront of her. He had not changed a bit expect the stubble across his cheeks are darker now and few lines have appeared in his forehead. She looked at him a little long and with slow steps walked towards him.
As the ship reached, Anirudh was restlessly looking at the crowd to find her when he spotted her standing, in a yellow marron banarasi saree that was contrasting her fair skin, with those gold jewelleries and thick line of sindoor in her forehead. She was looking exactly the same, the way he had left her, or she had turned more beautiful now. The background was blurred as his gaze was focus on the woman standing infront of him, the woman who was supposedly his wife.
But his heartbeat fastened with every step of hers towards him. He wanted to run to engulf her in his arms but stopped himself and instead stood there smiling at her.
He looked a little more mature now but his smile was still the same. It had the same effect on her as it was 3 years ago. It brought butterflies in her tummy as it would do previously too. And she stood infront of him trying to hide her blush.
Reality felt much more beautiful than all those dreams he had seen as she stood infront of him. Time stopped for both as they gazed at each other for long in silence. Anirudh was the first to speak up but only one word came out, "Bondita..." and those tears that she was trying to stop now fell as her name from his mouth ringed in her ears after years.
Anirudh not being able to control more moved his hands to cup her cheeks but stopped himself and instead holding her shoulder looked in those kohl lined eyes of hers, the same eyes that is haunting him in his dreams for years now. But Bondita frowned at the hesitancy of his. She looked at his eyes and found them hiding ocean of emotions in them like always. Those trembling lips and glassy eyes were enough for Bondita to understand the state of his mind. And she wondered for how long is he planning to keep those unsaid emotions to himself.
Making the conversation formal, Anirudh congratulated her and picking up her belongings, moved forward asking her to follow him. He was scared now to look in her eyes anymore as he knew his heart would do something that would make him regret later and more over a fear was overpowering all his emotions, the fear of rejection.
The journey to home finally helped them open up as Bondita enquired about all the changes and happenings that she had missed and Anirudh went on in explaining but there was a akwardness in between them. Akwardness as they both tried their level best to hide the feels of love and not to look at each other more often.
But on reaching home things became different. As Bondita's happiness of meeting everyone took over the tension brewing between her and patibabu. Being pampered by all the family members, she didn't even got chance to meet her patibabu as she was busy with everyone and he was busy with his books in his study.
It was late in the night and Bondita was wondering in her room. She was desperate to meet him and have a conversation with him. But he had again ran to study after dinner. But now she was not the teenage girl to sit upset in her room. She has to do something now. She has to take a step for her, for him and for their relation. And these thoughts made her restless. She sighed after being lost for minutes and with all her courage moved out of her room to the study. She was ready to take the step forward. She was determined to not let him punish himself more and even her too. It is high time, she has to tangle the untangled threads of their relation.
Bondita opened the door expecting him to be in the sofa with a book but he was standing near the window gazing outside. And breaking his solitude and the silence of the night she called, "patibabu...."
Not expecting her at such hours he turned suddenly and his brow tensed as soon as he saw her. She was standing in the same saree from the morning but she looked more ethereal now deprived of all those heavy jewelleries and in loose hairs.
Bondita then closing the doors behind her moved towards him. Anirudh felt nervous as he saw her coming. But to know the reason of her sudden arrival he asked,"itni raat ko yahan kya kar rahi ho Bondita aur soi kyu nehi ab tak??" but rather than replying she countered him, "aap bhi toh nehi soye hain patibabu." And Anirudh became silent with the taunt. Then she continued, "wese aapke pehele prashn ka jawab hai mere paas..aap se kuch zaruri baat karni thi isliye toh ana pada mujhe."
And Anirudh expecting it to be something about study was ready to clear her doubts but what she said made his heart to shatter as he felt his worst fear coming true.
Noticing every expressions of his she went on," aap ko yaad hai naa patibabu 3 saal pehele aapne mujhse ek wada liya tha. Toh mein chahati hun ki ab us wade ko pura karun. Mujhe aapse kuch kehena hai.."
Anirudh closed his eyes as she completed her sentence but then masking a fake smile in his face he said," bolo Bondita kya kehena chahati ho?? "
Bondita was now angry at him for doing this to her and mostly his. She couldn't understand what was wrong with him and why is he stopping himself. And thus she took the bold move.
Standing in her toes she encircled her arms around his neck. Anirudh's breathed hitched seeing her standing so close to him and her touch felt current. But paying no heeds to his denial she continued, "ab mein woh choti si Bondita nehi rahi patibabu 21 saal ki hun mein..ab toh mujhe hak hai naa apne bare mein sochne ka" and she said huskily,"toh apko nehi janna mere dil mein kya hai??"
Anirudh tried freeing himself from her cage as her touch was creating havoc in him. There was something in her voice too that he for moment was unsure if she is truly his Bondita. Before anything wrong happens he wanted to move away from her. But Bondita was in no mood to listen. She looked in his black orbs and said in pain, "in ankon mein bahut dard chupaye rakhe hai apne patibabu woh bhi najane kitne saalon se."
And these words from her made him look at her. She was not the little Bondita, as she was 3years ago she was now a lady, a lady who was now standing in front of him reading his eyes and it did something to his heart. Looking at those eyes for eternity, dont know what overpowered her but Bondita pecked his lips smiling at him. It was so sudden that Anirudh's hand automatically caged around her waist and he looked at her shocked. He couldn't belive what just happened and Bondita laughed and said, "buddhu hai aap patibabu apko kya laga meri jaruri baat kya hogi.."
And staring at him intensly she continued, "jab se pyar ka matlab samjha hai na tabse ye Bondita Roy Choudhury sirf apse pyar kiya hai patibabu.. Utna hi jitna pyar aap mujhse karte hain" and tear dropped from her eyes. And with this she hugged him tight resting her head in his heart.
Anirudh was shocked, astonished and different emotions were on his mind. He was still in shock with the activities of Bondita, this boldness was new for him and he still couldn't come back to terms with the recent happenings, but his heart was dancing with joy, his Bondita loves him.. And he was wrong all those time.
He lowered his eyes to look at the lady in his arms and the joy he felt at the moment was too much to be depicted in words. Rather he tightened his hold on her. And Boni too smiled hugging him more.
16+....
They broke the hug and Anirudh was gazing at her more intensely now and then moving his face closer to her he whispered, "sach mein badi ho gayi ho tum Bondita" and before Bondita could react to his sentence he captured her lips pouring all his love in it. The unsaid emotions was now making its way out as the two lovers were drowned in the kiss of love and longing.
They parted and Bondita ruffled the messy hair of his with a contend smile but soon her smile turned to confusion and she asked him, "par patibabu apka mujhse dur bhagne ki wajah kya thi??"
Anirudh sighed and said in serious tone, "humari umra Bondita aur tum toh mere hi ankho k samne badi hui ho.. Toh jab bhi tumhare bare mein esa wesa kuch sochta tha toh khud ko bura lagta tha.. Mujhe lag raha tha shayed mein kuch galat ka.." and Bondita put her finger in his lips shutting him and asked with a frown,"apne biwi koh ghurna galat lagta tha apko patibabu??" Anirudh smiling at her cuteness, pulled her cheeks and said,"lekin ab nehi lagta.." And moving closer to her, captured her lips once again.
