Ok...so I was in NY for this Eid and wen I went for the namaz, the imam there was telling us to pay @least $10 bucks to the masjid. He was like "apnera cable bill koto den? Eid e baccha der $20 neeche dite apnader lojja lage ba bhalo lage na...tahole @least give $10 to the house of Allah"

I've never seen this kind of method used for Jakat!!😕 is this right though?😕 my cousins who went for the namaz in Jamaica said they were told to donate a minimum of $7!!

eta kerokom kotha?😕😕

How much do you donate to your local mosque without being asked?
