How come we’re not so developed?

It is definitely true that Bangladesh is not developed. That's coz the basic economic problems are not solved. The funds held by the government, till now, are used for everything else except people's welfare.

If more schools are built and kids are sent there , then the literacy rate will improve and Bangladesh will have high quality human resources. More educational campaigns within the country, especially villages, will increase awareness about different diseases , issues such as family planning and role of women in society and it can also improve the health and hygiene in every household.

I guess if Bangladesh's government takes simple steps like these , Bangladesh will soon be developed as it has loads of resources with great potential and value. If these are used efficiently by the government then Bangladesh will be a better place to live in.

You have to realize that Those countries are quite Big while BD does not constitute of much land area. Also we are quite young. Slowly, tho we will improve especaially after Govt. Corruption are taken care of and internal problems are fixed. Also, We just had a Nobel winner I guess thats famous.

actually i have visited many countries, but I feel Dhaka is much more better than many other cities in the worls. At least u can bue a medicine easily. u need not 2 go far. U will get transportation always. There some security problem in every country like us, but then also we don't hav it tat much. sm times we r having it at night or in some cases when people withdriyng handsime amount from bank. In remote area I can't say it is tat bad, but then also problem is everywhere. all market places r very near in Dhaka city n it is cheap. ya Biman is facing losses every year 4 political reason. if they handover it to private sector could get better result. u know staff in this sector r not tat good n greedy n if any action taken against them they 4 strike. 1 think I can't understand Biman is giving losses every year, but when we r travelling inside the country everytime they telling tickets r all sold . go 2 nepal n bhutan. then u will understand it is not tat far behind than others cities n u can take luxarious bus ticket n go 2 cox's bazar n visit Inani beach n can have hotel booking prashad o paradise or hoter seagal. ya they also should hav itner city train system. i strongly feel tat. then we will b releav from traffick jam on road. now it will b here when normal people urges govt strongly n it should come to news paper more frequestly

100% agreed not many people know bangladesh .... if u go up 2 a english UK person and ask them do u no a country called India they will say yes and if u ask do u know a country called bangladesh the answer most of the time will be No .... which is upseting hope bangladesh will get popular soon nd get to b a well known conutry one day .....

I don't care if Bangladesh gets popular overseas, but i think that Bangladesh needs to get better within itself. i mean what r u gonna do with popularity when half the people in the country r starving n dying. and more than half the kids have no system of education at all..
i think education is the only way we can develop our country... if we expand our education system then improvement is possible..
one more important issue related to the development of BD is that smart people(students)takes scholarships to other countries n becomes doctors n engineers n then they settles there. For example in USA or Uk...so the result in BD is that, all our brains r busy developing other peoples countries while our people r dying n our country is going from bad to worse.

I totally agree ! its like whenevr im sitting with my dad i always give him a big lecture that what wud i do if i was the president of b.d and my lecture goes on n on and my dad just listens and at last when i finish i always say that "there's no use cuz no body will coporate" the government and people shud work together but NOO!!! People wna go crazy just like da governmant!!
