Me biased and maligning her? From which thin air did you pull this out?

What I wrote is based on what her parents told the media. You should be asking her parents why they are maligning her character by telling the world that the boy had told her he owned 4 cars, property in Ranchi, etc, and that she was disheartened upon learning that he did not?

How according to you are these material things important in love ?

If she filed a complaint against those fake policemen, then why did she not file a complaint against Rahul who was physically assaulting her ? ... It is a real mystery to all.

Police Find Rs. 24 Lakhs Missing From Pratyusha Banerjee's Bank Account

It's fast turning into an episode onCrime Patrol! Now, police are on a hunt to track down the missing 24 lakhs from Pratyusha Banerjee's bank account. After her parents claimed that the big amount was withdrawn from the slain actress' account in November last year, police began investigating into the finances of Pratyusha and her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh. According to police sources, Pratyusha's bank balance is zero now and the trail of money is not known to them. All of it was among the earnings she got through participating in reality shows like Bigg Boss and Power Couple, in which Rahul accompanied her. Police have stated it will be investigating all bank accounts to find where the money went. It also informed that Rahul held Pratyusha's debit and credit cards.

Pratyusha allegedly hanged herself at her residence on April 1. While Rahul has been charged with 'abetment of her suicide', some reports also stated that Pratyusha was hit as well. Her lawyer in a statement has given 15 reasons why Rahul should be taken into custody. Out of many other things, the lawyer said her suicide was a 'pre-planned murder'.

"Rahul never let Pratyusha talk to her parents. Why did he not inform the police after her suicide which he should have done in the first place. We did not even find any suicide note, probably Rahul has destroyed all the evidence against him. Rahul has had a record of cheating seven women and duping around Rs. 25 lakh in the past and hence, according to him, it can be a pre-planned murder." - Lawyer

Pratyusha's suicide case is getting messier as Rahul is admitted in a hospital due to ill health since April 3. Police have sent Pratyusha and Rahul's mobile phones to FSL for deleted data recovery. Also, the couple's e-mail and social media accounts are being monitored for more evidence.

I don't understand why would you stop talking with your parents? Let's assume her parents were greedy and money minded, but at the end of the day they were her parents, people who brought her in this world.
If she didn't want to give money to her parents, that was her choice, but it doesn't mean she should stop talking.

If it was duty of parents to stop Pratyusha from getting into abusive relationship, then it was duty of Pratyusha to financially support her old parents.

After reading Pratyusha's parents' interview, i actually question their parenting skills and thinking! They knew enough to put a stop on things before they went so far but actually encouraged her. That's as good as throwing someone in well and then say she was the one who bend down deep over the well.
Of course they would say that Pratyusha would have never tried to take such a step. They have already done enough damage to their daughter's image through this interview. Besides, no parent can ever accept openly that their child would take such a step.
No one wants to be judgemental or rude towards Pratyusha but it's little hard to not blame her for putting up for such a guy, blindly trusting him, letting him take control of her life and isolating herself from everyone for one unfaithful person.
Maybe something forced Pratyusha to stay in such a wrong relationship but if her mother's interview holds any truth then her parent's misguided views and her own immature thinking seemed to have trapped her in this relationship.

Honestly i did not want to blame her parents at this moment because they have got such big sorrow but could not stop myself her parents are weird to me Just saw on youtube what is written as last interview of pratyusha before her death Her mother was saying she send her to Mumbai and took a promise from her she will make herself a star , she will not see her face until she does not do this πŸ˜•i mean come on which loving parent do that ? who sends their young daughter all alone to such a big city and tell her they will not see her face until she does not make herself a star ?They distanced themselves from Pratyusha The lack of communication between her and her parents created distances between them Till she was in bv she was under good company of friends and was saved but she lost her way later after BV and her parents were never there to guide her

Pratyusha Banerjee suicide: Rahul Raj's ex-lawyer lashes against him

TNN |

er Neeraj Gupta, who had quit Pratyusha Banerjee's suicide case, took a press conference lashing against Rahul Raj Singh, Pratyusha's boyfriend.

During the conference, Rahul's ex-lawyer Neeraj made shocking revelations about him. "Rahul was partying with a girl at Bora Bora restaurant on March 31, the night before Pratyusha committed suicide. He even fought with the girl," said Neeraj.

He also added, "Rahul's modus operandi was to introduce actresses to drugs, con them and then dump them." "He did the same with Pratyusha Banerjee," said Rahul's ex-lawyer.

Neeraj also disclosed that Pratyusha was drinking heavily on April 1 morning, the day she died. "If Pratyusha was drinking since morning, how was she conscious to tie the noose and hang herself. There were injuries on her nose and cheekbones," informed Neeraj.

According to Neeraj, Rahul was earlier married to Sougata Mukherjee, an air hostess and has not got a divorce decree yet.

On April 1, the 24-year-old actress, who shot to fame for her role of Anandi in hit TV series "Balika Vadhu", allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her flat at Goregoan area of western suburbs. Police are also trying to ascertain whether Pratyusha was in financial trouble or had any dispute with Rahul.

Agree with you.
Another point - The parents always said Rahul and Pratyusha were to get married. But in the press conference, the father says he never met Rahul;s parents. he saw his father at the hospital and came to know he was not as he was made out to be.

If his daughter was to get married to someone, was it not his duty to talk to the boy's family and fix the marriage date ?

The parents are getting trapped in their own words.

It looks like they needed Rahul very badly.

It's sad we are blaming the parents for ill date of prats. The parents never liked prats choice and prats always wanted to prove her choice was right. So at even choose power couple to display their love and gain support.Parents had to finally give a nod or else they would their daughter completely...Wanting rich guy for their daughter doesn't make any parent gold digger becoz every parent wants the best for their child and prats was earning so much so they definitely wanted a successful rich son in law.For rahul prats threw her mother outside her flat ...parents are also human ...prats went ...finally who are suffering her parents...

Rahul's former lawyer is now in support of Pratyusha Banerjee

Neha Maheshwri | TNN | Apr 9, 2016

The latest twist in the Pratyusha Banerjee alleged suicide case is that her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh's former lawyer, Neeraj Gupta, has decided to file a petition against him if the investigation doesn't shape up as it should.

"Rahul can't escape. There is evidence against him," says the lawyer. Neeraj adds he didn't want to defend the actor-producer on moral grounds. He elaborates, "I was with Rahul throughout to ensure that his interest as my client is protected. He told me that he and Pratyusha were happy together and she had even ordered a wedding lehenga three days before the incident. He also said that she was out of work for about a year and her parents had blown up all her money. She was in a lot of debt as they had taken a loan on high interest rate in her name. As a result, she was under tremendous stress and allegedly committed suicide due to the same reason."

Neeraj adds, "When I took up the matter, I realised that the entire television industry was against him. However, the news of his marriage, child and illicit relationship with Saloni Sharma surfaced later. This was contrary to what I was told by his family. They had said he is a bachelor. I also realised that Rahul's story about not being in contact with Saloni since his break-up wasn't true either. Even now, they are in touch with each other. Apparently, she was present at the hospital where Pratyusha was admitted. She called his aunt after he was admitted to the hospital. I advised Rahul's family to avoid her calls as it would have had an adverse effect on the case. But they continued to speak to her in private. Rahul had also told me that he and Pratyusha were partying with a common friend the day before she committed suicide, but at the hospital, he gave me a different version. He said that he had invited friends over to finish some leftover alcohol from the Holi party. I realised that he was lying and warned him that it would affect the case. When I confronted his father about Rahul's marriage, he admitted to it later after feigning shock. He dismissed it by saying the girl was not good enough and avoided the question pertaining to Rahul's son. I wanted to file an FIR, but when it became apparent that they kept lying, I decided to opt out of the case. It was a call of the conscience."

Ask him if he was paid his fees and Neeraj replies, "Though I reminded Rahul and his family several times to give me my advance fee, they kept dilly-dallying. In fact, I ended up spending from my own pocket."

Speaking of Rahul's financial status, the lawyer says, "He was not doing anything. He bagged his last show because of Pratyusha. The police must investigate the loans taken by her and the number of accounts she had. They should find out who made monetary transactions from her accounts and who was the actual beneficiary. While Pratyusha's parents believe that he was possessive, that's not the truth. He wanted her off his back. She got so deeply involved with him that she cut herself off from the world. She got into addictions. Perhaps when she realised that he was planning to leave her, she felt that there was nothing left in her life. Had her career been going well, she may have sustained." As for Rahul's health condition, he says, "He was unwell on April 2, but I can't say anything about his health today."

Meanwhile, Rahul's father Harshvardhan says, "Neeraj was never appointed by us to fight the case and there has been no documentation. In fact, he made us meet Ashok Saraogi, who is our lawyer. We are grateful to him for standing by us those few days and arranging our stay at his office. He was also there with us at the police station, but there has been no involvement in the case at his end. We are upset with him for giving statements on our behalf to the media. He is probably seeking publicity out of the case. We have been refraining from commenting on the case or anything as advised by our lawyer."

Talking about the next step after the court rejected Rahul's plea for anticipatory bail, he says, "We will now appeal to the Bombay High Court as and when advised by Saraogi." Regarding Rahul's health, he says, "He is still in the ICU and the doctors have advised him rest."
