Sushmita Mukherjee enters Balika Vadhu

Sushmita Mukherjee will be entering Balika Vadhu as Subhadra who has a conservative mindset. She will be shown as Daddoo's (Sudhir Pandey) sister and will be insturmental in creating clashes in Shiv's (Siddharth Shukla) progressive family. She is vocal about her likes and dislikes and tries to impose her ideologies wherever she feels there's a hint of progression. Says Sushmita, "I play a strict regressive woman, but she has lot of shades to her.

She is the main antagonist and will represent a struggle between two idealogies." Sushmita who had taken a sabbatical from TV had done cameos in Madhubala and Housewife Hai Sab Janti Hai. This will be her major role.

TFS.
Creatives can think only family drama. Now that the leads are settled - I thought they will focus more on professional side.

Thanks for the info.
Enough of new unrelated characters everyday who add no values to the lives (tracks) of existing characters.
Why has BV chosen to go regressive?
Not sure what exactly is left in this show to look forward to.

Thank you Anjali.
She is a very good actress, no doubt. Hmm, she is playing one with a conservative mindset, Why?
So all we shall see clashes between Ansh and this lady right from topics related to their marriage till Amol adoption, more family drama ahead.

Just in our dreams Puja. I don't think CVs ever wanted to show professional lives, it was only us who expected.
May be family drama and tears are the only ways to fetch TRPs. They have introduced more trouble for their bahu Anandi.

I am trying to reconcile the latest news with the focus on Anandi in Jagoore campaigns - huh - what an irony?? Will we see A back with her pallu, holding trays and doing tel maalish of buajišŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

If the colors fiction head cannot contribute to BV in any constructive manner, he MUST KEEP AWAY FROM INTERFERING IN BV and messing up its USP..

This actor could have made a fabulous antagonist for collector SRS and bhaili director Anandi -how much we want to see Anandi's professional growth.. Why cannot BV writers be creative and think of such characters??

That is why I think forum is a better place. If they limit it to saas - bahu type, then I will revert to reading written updates and discussions in forum (of course that include criticizing the creatives).

The need for a strong antagonist is quite understandable.

They had Dadisa then Gauri and then Jagya. They tried their level best with Sanchi but that actress is not upto it talentwise.
So this lady who specialises in doing mean wicked and regressive woman roles is chosen to play antagonistšŸ¤¢

I am sure the lady must be a good actress but why bring her on the domestic front ?
They could have easily made her a corrupt politician or unscrupulous woman behind that beggar mafia or even a god mother of sorts. Why make her a nasty bua?

I guess MR PRASHANT REGRESSIVE BHATT is capable of only thinking along these lines.

I read that he worked as creative director / head (excuse my knowledge on his exact position) in Ekta Kapoor's serials. No wonder his 'idea' of running a successful show has 'regression' in its roots. BV indeed started a show that shows social harms and how people can eventually become progressive. Not the same anymore. If I were to describe this show in one terminology, I would say - bell-shaped curve.

What is this??
Aaj tak toh kabhi daddu ki sis k baare mein nahi suna. Even in Shiv's marriage, Anup return and Sanchi marriage, no one even talk abt her.

Agar koi -ve character lana hi tha toh kisi outsider ko late instead of Daddu's sis
