This is one of those golden episodes I love to watch time and again to get out of the gloomy mood.
Starting with the couples fighting and Surili's pessimistic comments, the drama galore was completely on. The way that they confirm RAM to be Shajni's son with some coincidences and Surili unwillingly hearing them out, cracked me up. I knew I was in for a good ride.
Shogata tried to convince Ria and Vikram. She was so confident that her charm would work on this business associate. What I felt odd was why Dev was not present at the ceremony before police turned up.
I am just in love with Dev right now. He has got that swag and is enjoying being in a better position before Shogata. While the entry itself was dashing, I feel the flashbacks served to drive the point harder that this guy is the once silly looking friend of Shaan.
Vikram literally worships Dev. If Dev says No, it's No for him. Mindblowing. Shogata is trying to charm Vikram while Dev was the one to make him successful in life.
Dev was being mature when he says it's okay hamara purani continuity. He didn't say acquaintance, enmity, friendship, relationship. He says continuity. Does this mean he still doesn't really hate Shogata and if Shogata wants, he would welcome her back in his life?
The reunion between the besties was awesome. It was a highlight for me. Shaan enters the scene being angry with Dev in his house. I thought this is going to turn into a squabble. But being literally brothers, they meet like the typical long lost friends. They are happy to see each other. Even Shogata was left wondering if Shaan is going to strangle Dev.
At this point, Shaan asks, all this is happening because of you, right? Rajni told Shaan that Dev maintained her for the past 5 years. But Dev doesn't know that Shaan has met Rajni and RAM. However Dev not reacting to that, does that mean, Dev knows the status of Kant family now and possibly, he is aware of the reason behind that?
His dialogue of mere paas bungalow... Tere paas kya hai.. And Shaan answers mere paas sawaal hai. Dev smoothly puts his questions to rest, for now, with his advice to Ria. His attitude when he says he is suggesting in the capacity of Devar. However, Dev is currently more possessive as a brother to Rajni. Uska akela Bhai usko sambhalega. He pointedly says that to Shaan. As if saying, Shaan might have tied that relationship in an attempt to cover the lies, but Dev hasn't forgotten that relationship till now.
When Dev hears RAM, he is shocked. Shaan and Shogata were more shocked that RAM addressed Dev as Mamu. I thought he would be upset that Rajni and RAM reached Kant house without informing him. However, he turns to that bestie mode and says Kismat badi kameeni hai.
What made me fall deeper for Dev was when he advises that the wedding must go on and he asks Rajni to confirm too. Respect to you, Dev!
Surili Kant is personification of Drama. When she realises that the guy before her is Dev Bangdu, she is stunned. This was the guy she humiliated and insulted, even called him a parasite. They were disgusted that by error, he got married to Shogata. They treated him worse than a servant. Today, this guy is a respectable businessman, fighting for the self respect of his sister.
Dev stole the show completely. He has gone through some worst conditions in this house, yet holds the friendship with Shaan dearly. He doesn't even mention that he was once the son-in-law of this house.
Now what I want to see for Dev is how his relationship moves with Shogata. Like Ria is to Shaan-Rajni, I want someone else in Dev's life. Shogata must come to a realization that Dev is indeed a great guy and she needs to redeem herself to win his trust and love.
The precap was too cool. Something is going to stop their divorce. Probably RAM. For now, I am just loving Dev in that teal shirt and black jacket.
