Vibhor and Prabha: Mother's love or Possessiveness?

Hey everyone!

I was wondering how the forum members feel about Prabha's attitude towards Reeti and her (over)possessiveness over Vibhor.

In my opinion, I find it very immature of her to act like Reeti is trying to steal her son from her. 😕 I mean, you are his mother and she is his wife. How are the two comparable in any way? 😲

Prabha should understand that she has her own place in Vibhor's life and Reeti occupies a different place. How can a mother and a wife be in competition? Doesn't make sense at all. As a parent, she should actually try and make sure that ViTi's marriage is sailing smoothly. She should help Reeti adjust well into the Poddar House, but here this lady is busy taunting her.
She seems to be very insecure when it comes to Vibhor because of *cough* Manbhari's secret *cough* and wants him to be her little boy forever. She should understand that he has to grow up and live his own life.

The job of a parent is to give wings to their children so they can fly unfettered, not lock them in a golden cage where the parent can see them, but the child can't fly.

What do you guys think?

Do you think Prabha's behaviour is right or she should get over her insecurity?

nice post apu , me 2 didn't like prabha's behavior 4 reeti . something she s hiding from family . did u noticed every time manbhari try 2 save reeti from bilassi & others . vibhor nature s very close 2 his maasi , childish , un mature 😆 funny but not greedy . y prabha s not liking reeti just boz her age , not at all. something really big & serious . again bilasi'll target 2 reeti 4all that.

I didn't understand is this Prabha's mother's love or possessiveness or insecurity .

Yeah, you are right. Prabha has very good precedents to follow- in the form of Dadi and Kaushalya, but I wonder which tangent she is on. Pata nahi kisse follow kar rahi hai?

As you said, Prabha doesn't seem to be very mature. At least Vibhor and her have something in common, hehe. 😛

Yes, it is definitely prevalent in real life and I hope that the CVs address it properly. 😊

I think there should be a subplot where we see the reason behind Prabha's attitude and her softening up to Reeti.

@bold- Prabha ko koi batao ki 21st century aa gayi hai. Unke bete ko kisi ne khaayi mein nahi dakhela. I think she should listen to Dadi's pravachan.

I don't understand!! What is Manbhari's secret? Is Vibor not Prabha & Ghansham's son??
