Today's epi proved yet again just what an oblivious character Meera actually is😆...most of the time I was getting deja vu of things we've discussed in the other thread about Meera...

The Abhi-Meera scene today showed yet again that Meera lives in her own world...a world in which she doesn't count as a "ladki" who's company Abhi is constantly with, a world in which she has partial amnesia thanks to her allergic reaction😆...bechara Abhi...lol Priyansh was fantastic yet again in showing that range of expressions on Abhi's face as he tries to explain to Meera that she was the one who left the lipstick mark on him...such an endearing mix of hesitation and exasperation with her...lol

Meera really doesn't count herself as someone Abhi could possibly like...she sees one random girl in his company and she's willing to run the whole nine yards with that theory...that this is the girl he mentioned earlier when he talked about being in love...baat ko kahaan se kahaan le gayi...special Meera talent😆...Looking at the epi as a whole, this felt like a convenient plot device to get Abhi to agree to marrying this girl...a combination of Meera being oh so oblivious to his feelings and then on top of that encouraging him to marry this girl.

The bit that stood out in this scene was Meera's shaadi funda..."Shaadi hi toh hai...maa baap ki khushi ke liye kar lo"😕😆...Oh GOD this girl *facepalm^infinity*...someone save her from herself...so utterly oblivious she is about her disastrous fundas...the way she's going on, at this rate toh I wouldn't be surprised if she marries Abhi on a whim too..."shaadi hi toh hai"...aur woh maan bhi jaayega given how much he's in lowe with her😕😆...And Meera is already over-obsessed with Yograj uncle...mehh🥱

The scene was cute otherwise...I loved the bit where Abhi gave in to her insistence and told her who the girl was and why his father was getting blamed...I loved the way he said, "Mujhe nahin karni" with regards to marrying Radhika...and this one bit where he just simply says "Meera" in exasperation as she's going on and on making khayaali pulaao about him and Radhika...lol

.Meera's obliviousness aside, these two look really cute in a frame :) Abhi was being more familiar with her today, holding her hand and all to lead her back to her room...without really being aware of it, there was that comfort level from his side but Meera was in mega oblivious mode😆..."Chilaasan"😆

I loved the way Abhi handled Radhika's cheapster-giri in his room too...the dignity of this guy, man...so endearing...itna politely he he was talking to her even though he was so creeped out by her😆

The standout moment of the epi for me though was the first 2 minutes when Abhi comes back to his room and remembers the moments with Meera...especially that last bit where he just lays his head against that lipstick mark of hers on his shirt...awww...well directed bit.

I had higher expectations from the last scene...lekin humara hero toh khud hi pit ke aa gaya😆...woh bhi on such a FAKE looking punch from a very poorly enacted drunk Aman😆...Daadi ne saara mazaa kharaab kar diya...why did she have to stop Abhi? Kaash woh punch land kar jaata us loser Aman pe...*sigh*

Re: Precap...two things:

1) Abhi seems to be agreeing to the marriage to Radhika only cuz Meera has put this idea in his head and he's bummed out about upsetting her I guess...Meera ne khud ke stupid ideas about marriage ab Abhi pe bhi transfer kar diye hain...waah😕😆

2) Yograj acting shady on that phone call seems like a red herring...still not sure if he is actually a fraud...that "maqsad" of his might turn out to be something goody goody *rolls eyes* I hope not...a fraud is the only explanation that will work on him.

AYyy- I saw the episode and see what my problem is. But I am following AY-Box ka route and flowing with it.

I am just too stumped by Meera's shaadi argument. Is it something she believes in or was saying because of her situation. This girl is like "hawa ka that thing" , needs a reality check which she would get and then growing up but I wonder if that would take her spirit or evolve it more. So much potential there but they treat her a plot device toh.

I am actually a bit disappointed with Abhi. if not for his feelings for Meera , what would have been his reaction about Radhika? How can he take Meera's thing seriously about shaadi or this rhista.

You know , that whole bit with Aman was disgusting. I really really wonder why the heck they made Riya, IAS, never seen a young IAS Lady like that . Both girls were so scared and how the heck one goes with the Rhista after that.

That convo between Riya-Meera is why I usually am confused about Meera, they better back this with some solid story rather than just piling it as family reject. Because sometimes you can see she understands this Aman thing but the way she just navigates or flips about it in the other instant is so weird.

Yogi baba is playing some f**ked up game Good or bad ka I don't know but guy has some reason , solid one at that for showing up,I think it's bad because that would be another reality check for Babli, Dadi and Meera.

I am going to talk a bit more about Meera. She is fascinating, lost in her own wonderland but a plot device for the show. Her own Shaadi was an excuse to meet Pants, this Aman angle is either for Abhi's love or something else. But Yogi baba got an entry coz of her , now this Radhika .Somewhere this just limits her. i really want this girl to get that scolding for her family or a show-down because I want to see her raw pain more and some introspection even if Abhi facilitates it.

On another note, yaar, this director and cameraguy is love. Adored the whole sequence how he shot the Abhi-Meera scene . Namita is really owning her role as Meera, I think she makes it endearing with her expression and PJ plays off her well. They are cute and both kids evoke an emotion , they deserve to be happy , bas. Barfi popped in my head aaj looking at these two.

LOL yess Genie, I see your problem...the whole epi was dedicated to highlighting your problem with Meera :P haha

Riya showed some akkal today...super shocking...I thought today also she will tell Meera ki jaao Aman ko sorry bolo *rolls eyes*

As usual though, they will find a way to pin this on Abhi and blame him for ruining the rishta with Aman.

Word about the direction and camerawork...really well done...especially some of the angles around that round red chair thing...very cutely done...lol

Meera's shaadi waali line totally left me flabbergasted...I mean flippancy aside, I couldn't help but feel disturbed at how cluelessly this girl is hurtling herself towards a serious commitment without having the first idea about what it entails.

I am hoping Abhi pulls a repeat of his "failure pahaad" gyaan and manages to explain to Meera that shaadi is not a tukke wala 6 week course you do aevein...sadly though he himself is just jumping into shaadi on a lark.

Shaadi is becoming like free ka laddoo on this show...koi bhi mazey se uthaa ke khaa raha hai😕😆

Re: Barfi reference...lol just the other day I was listening to "Kyun" and thinking how much it would suit them...it's cuz Meera is a demented but innocent cartoon...and their bond is innocent too...that is why the song would work on them.

I loveddd PJ ke expressions in the bit when Meera is teasing him about the lipstick mark...matlab been ages since I saw such well done restrained acting. And that is what made the scene so endearing...the way he'd unconsciously call her "Meera" in b/w as he struggled b/w being amused and exasperated with the tangent she'd taken off on.

I am actually kinda sad for Meera she probably doesn't realize what is happening to her and what she is getting herself into. That scene when she checks her arm or flinches at Aman's touch ..that is scary shit. Even Rohan seemed earlier more in touch with emotions or situations but Meera is a baccha who needs alot of patient handling and someone who truly let her be and not expect anything . Abhi can do that for her but that boy is saddled by his family too.

The guy who plays aman legit gives me creepy feeling. What an Arse and I really really hope Riya just not push Meera for this shaadi and they tell their dad about it. For a Home Sec, dude , comeon , this shouldnt be a problem.

I loved the red chair thing and the whole bit.PJ's expressions, such nuanced work there especially when he tries to make her realize it was her and they shared a moment . Dude, it\'s heartbreaking to watch and yet you get it. He is becoming intimate about Meera and there is this intense emotion for her. Simmering hai.

Meera ka I don't know if she will ever realize it how dependent she is on Abhi now.

Abhi literally holds the show. Dude, that Barfi song and all these two need is a bubble to wrap them.

Like in that jungle shack convo...it was proved that only Abhi can get through to her and make her re-evaluate a viewpoint she stubbornly holds on to against all common sense...like her low self-esteem...he gave her perspective on that point. He seriously needs to talk sense into her on this shaadi issue...cuz no one else seems interested in doing so😕...I guess Riya tried way back the first time Meera mentioned shaadi...but now she is too busy being worried about the future of her own marriage into Sanjay's family so Meera's welfare seems to have flown out of her mind :/

Tum bhi senti ho gayi😆...but yeah man seriously...Abhi holds the show for me, every scene...his are the reactions and expressions that make a mark more often than not...itna pyara character hai sach mein...and to your point, I like that there is this simmering quality to him...he's so sweet otherwise but something simmers under the surface and bubbles up interestingly time and again...makes him more intriguing.

Just for poor Abhi's sake, I wish Meera would get a clue...but alas...then she wouldn't be Meera if she got a clue so easily😕😆

I think Meera is stubborn in her own way but it's for that moment and then she entirely forgets it. You think , she remembers Abhi ka gyaan . She needs that constant patience and Abhi can give it to him regarding shaadi or even Bubli or any woman of this show . Because I want to see her processing it . All someone needs to ask ki if she won't be happy and feel safe with Aman toh how the heck her family ever be happy? This should be her dad saying but Abhi can do the job.

I do want to bubble wrap them because too much stress, expectations and they rarely have a moment to themselves. Simple hai. . But Meera for now evokes this protectiveness because it's not in her hand to comprehend it .

Abhi is such a character, that heat when he shows when he talked back to Dadi about his father or even his frustration today when they all were fighting about his shaadi. Or the "Meera" and the anger at Aman..this guy has a lot of layers , bas supporting characters and plots need to do justice .

Funny how they all want to play Dad or parent to Abhi but the guy has been a parent to everyone in Pant House.

True about Meera being stubborn in the moment and then promptly forgetting...she needs constant reinforcement...for that, Abhi needs more regular interaction with her...lekin Aman is hanging over their heads now😆

I was loving the irony of that scene too...all these ppl trying to claim the status of "parent" to Abhi when in fact he was the one who became the parent to the whole family...bunch of lame hypocrites they all are😆

Lol Abhi ke life mein Ek Meera aur Ek Radha😆 I loved the way Abhi just rests his head tenderly near Meeras lipstick mark. And the next moment you are jarred down by ahaaa BG😕😆 The elders of the Pant bhavan can compete in who is the worse amongst them. They have made Babli so redundant😕

Abhi is trying to be nice to Radhika but the moment he sees Meera he says Kal ki train ticket katva lunga😆 Meera ke Shaadi ke fande😕 She randomly assumes that since thats the only girl Abhi has talked to its the one he said he loves. These two were so adorable in this scene. Abhi bechara was trying so hard to tell her that its her lipstick mark but was hesitant as it might embarrass her.

chAman and his chamchas🤔 He really crossed the line today and it would be simply foolish to go ahead with the alliance after this. Riya should put a stop to this craziness. The fight scene seemed so real. Abhi got a golden opportunity to vent out the anger that was simmering but Dadi played a spoilsport. That looser deserved a knock out punch.

I really want Yogi to be a fraud. There is no way of redeeming his character. But I don't trust the writers😆 so anything is possible.

The thing about Aman is that even if the Raizadas break off Meera's rishta with him, he's still gonna hang around cuz he is Sanjay's cousin so will show up for all of their shaadi functions. ...so diraama ke bahut chances.

not only meera even ria was scared and not cool with whatever stupid aman was doing and am glad she also was on meera's side for once and didn't tried to sush meera up and say it's ok he can caz he's gonna marry u i swear i would've thrown a virtual chappal at her if she did. aman & hsi cheap friends are such big losers and are perfect example of how money can't buy u manners or class. they are pathetic freaking z grade citizens always insulting abhi & his family ..

meera is such a cutie pie living in her own bubble not knowing anything but her love for yogi uncle really bothers me like usne kiya kia hai meera ke liye that she likes him too much meera baby stay away from that freak & stop worrying for him

about radhika she leaves me speechless each time with her weird harkatein and batein and all i can do is roll my eyes at her and touch my ears going tauba bas . btw is madhu chachi likes her so much why doesn't she let kapil marry that namoona. abhishek ko kyon balli chada rahi hain kapil se shaadi karke bahu bana le na chachi waise bhi she's the only one interested in her.

now i really think given the precap future scenario would be abhi also having his functions along with meera's wedding with aman at the homestay or around the same time and then tada they both marry each other and not the losers. aman & radhika would make a perfect couple ek jaise dono with yogi uncle padhying mantars at the wedding wah kia perfect shadi hogi

and akshir yogi ne apne asli rang dikha hi diye i knew it he's not trustworthy whatsoever

about acting namita is outdoing herself these days and am mighty impressed. PJ is always top notch is till gotta see 1 bad scene from him. in his other show too he excelled always and honestly it's very hard to tell it's the same boy because both the characters are poles apart . 👏👏👏 totally in aweee👏 we need more tv actors like him . i am sick of either expressionless poker faced heroes or the ones who are over acting all the time and making u laugh when u r supposed to feel bad for them. the only other actor who is kind of same level as PJ on tv is kunal karan kapoor he was just as fab as mohan in NBTNMKK too
