Still, it would be nice to see a song describing Abhi from Meera's perspective...she's so flighty in general, how do you even make a song on her? What lyrics will it have? Stuff like "Yeh maara paapad waale ko?" "Kaash hum bhi makkhi hote?"🤣

Hahaha, i actually think these main set of lines will suit Meera as well and uske aage peeche toh they definitely need to modify...

I did read though, I am one of those who are highly annoyed when the balance between the two basic fundas of her- getting Parents' approval and her own happiness is not clearly defined or even presented as a conflict. Like you know , has she introspected these two viz a viz against each other.

It is his story , i get it, but if Meera is the catalyst , a bit more basic clarity won't hurt na.

Goes back to sulking in a corner.

But good they broke the illusion Abhi had, the way Meera perceives things is completely different than he thinks she would be doing. "Flying feather" - that is her.

Yogi bear's intentions are clear from precap...aaj ke epi mein he went all "you are my son i care for you" with Abhi, emo blackmails him by saying he doesn't need to rush into marriage. Ramraj- yogi bear have a faceoff, ramraj-madhu accuse yogi bear of overstepping his rights as a father, when he'd lost them years ago and ramraj had to become Abhi's dad.

Abhi tells Meera that Radhika be the girl his family has chosen for him to get married..tries to tell Meera his feelings and that he doesn't want that..but girl is constantly going on and on about Radhika- how special she be because she got yogi bear on Abhi's side (when Abhi tells her that Yogi bear supports his decision of not marrying so soon) ... meera be hell bent on proving that that is the girl Abhi loves 😆 ...also tells him, it's just a marriage Abhi, agar parents khush hote hai toh kar lo...and Abhi, for the first time looked to me as though he be like "what the hell is she on about?"

Abhi ke cousins take panga with obnoxious frnds of aman coz latter be initating and insulting babli's walking style.. Abhi interferes, whole family rushes out.. Aman hits abhi and then abhi goes onto Aman only when he starts misbehaving with Meera and asks him to respect women.

Toh uske baad i think his illusion is broken coz precap mein he says he isn't exactly opposed to the idea of marriage...and then yogi bear is seen talking to someone on the phone how it is imp that abhi get married in order for his plan to work.

@Box- What Shaadi? No idea about that. But true, I am going to let Meera flow and not worry about her . Lets see what she does with Pants now.

ArreYaar: I've only been watching since a week but your analysis is always so well-thought of & written!! Initially I found this show boring, but it requires for it to grow on you.. The USP are the cast, who play their parts exceedingly well!! I am so super-impressed by Abhi & Meera as actors, esp Meera!! She's so real & believable, what she basically plays is the Manic Pixie Girl trope, yet the actres adds her own tropes & nuances, wonderful. Abhi is a lovely, lovely character, a simple, home-spun man with these slight, raw edges. A certain jadedness yet such goodness & responsibility.. That little curl of his fingers when Aman dragged Meera away was quite revealing. Also I like the fact that they stress on how good a person Abhi is. I liked that he saved Meera but I like it more that I feel he did out of his own sense of right & wrong, and not in a bid to "save" his lady-love. Nothing wrong in that either, but for me it sort of brings forth his character more, that sense of innate feminism & responsibility he possesses.


There is a gently tug to the AbhiEera conversations, They both have sacrificed their dreams, Abhi his Engineering one, Meera, her quest for a dream/ her dream of finally making her exasperated family happy .. She can never be happy with an Aman (these sorts exist in every "polished" nook & cranny in Delhi, seen too many of such egoistic, "Mera Baap Pata nahi kaun hai?!" Ego-carrying "men") She requires an equal. Her own sort. There steps in Abhi. Suddenly I am quite excited to see their journey, but mainly for Abhi. I was pulled in by Meera, but I think I'll stay for Abhi. I think thats their story. 😊

Hiii alll... I'm kinda confused with the characterization of meera... I guess d makers need to work on her more... I'm not good at analysing characters dat easily but I feel there is no effort made to show meera's thought process..

I mean her aim is "bas khush rehna chahti Hu".. N once she said to abhi " insaan hi toh h Dhoni bhi toh 0 pe out hota h", but here she s trying to make her parents happy by marrying someone for whom she has no clear clarity ...

I mean I feel its time now they show what she actually thinks about Aman.. I'm not expecting any love realization for abhi... But I want the makers to show her to get a clarity on Aman n make her realise dat shaadi is a big thing... Its not dat Yu can marry someone jus like dat to make someone happy... I don't want them to show something like she breaking d relation on engagmnt day or something... It wud b again every on blaming her... I feel meera and her family should be aware of wat Aman is n y he intends to marry meera...

N happy dat they gav a clarity on yogi baba .. We got to know ge s negative...

Well there r so many characters.. I have no idea what the current track is about.. Kinda confused..but m missing babli n Rohan.. Such beautiful ppl...i really want babli to stand up fr her son in Radhika issue...

@Genie...yep...meera ke liye toh marriage is just another task, lol...probably like one of those many 6-month courses she does...she really doesn't know what it even means to get married to someone or just what it requires of her. It made me laugh how matter-of-factly she suggests Abhi to get married too, as though with the ease of "yeh drink achhi hai, tu bhi try kar le"...lol

I would say just Abhi's illusion of being with her is broken for now, not his feelings per say (if that is what you wanted). Were Aman not in picture, he would have still hung onto that tiny hope, despite her denial. With Aman, he has no option but to give up on all his dreams with regards to her. It's interesting how sad this makes me feel, despite knowing it's a hopeless cause, i still rooted for this to work now, coz i see more scope for development and evolvement after a mutual acceptance of their feelings and a beginning of their relationship.

Madster - I want Aman episode to be a lesson for Meera where she understands what a marriage be and what it symbolizes . She wants to do it for her family but she treats it like a photography workshop- part of her character but will that remain a constant trait or she will evolve out of it , remains to be seen.
