Sept 6th : Love is blind vs love is stupid

Still waiting for Anu's post, but couldn't help highlighting a few interesting things i felt when i saw the epi..

Love is Blind- Abhi's...at this point, he knows very well that Meera is out-of-bounds, it is in fact the responsibility of her fiance to take care of her, yet he cannot help but overstep his boundaries and make sure she is fine. Such a dark edge to his otherwise composed demeanor, again believable because he has acknowledged the feelings, else he would have looked like a complete idiot and a regression from his earlier character. He has no business picking her up and parading her all the way to the home stay wen Aman is there is complete form, kinda felt a tiny amount of sympathy for Aman there- guy might be a douchebag but nobody deserves to watch this 😆

Love is stupid- Meera's...girl knows at this point how insensitive it would be to go on chanting Abhi's name in front of aman, at points it's almost like she doesn't care that she is showing so much Affection for another guy. They have to show her pondering about her actions soon, especially the way she clung onto his arm even after he laid her down on the bed. How can she not know the effect she is having on Aman by doing this? It is one thing to give Abhi vibes, chalo he doesn't even hold it against her, he doesn't even ask for his love to be reciprocated, but Aman is supposed to be her would-be fiance. Such high amount of confusion and stupidity is disturbing, but well, I'd felt the same when the show started and she grew on me as a person then, so i hope the same now.. Riya ki tubelight seems to have lit up faster than Meera's at this point. Chalo, all hope is not lost with the sister bond.

meera as far as i feel doesn't cares about others feelings too much
she is like as she said,"mai bas kuch khush rehna chahti hoo"
she just lives this philosophy.
she thinks when she is happy,everyone else is also happy
No doubt, all family members are hell worried for her

I would slightly disagree, divan.. I think meera does care about other's feelings, only her range is quite small, as in, she would care only about people jinhe woh apna samajhti hai, toh yeah, quite selfish like that, but then we all are. If she didn't care about other's feelings, she wouldn't even be in this marriage in the first place- the only reason she wans to marry Aman is to make sure her family is happy. The way she keeps on caring for the Pants, again because somewhere there is an apnapan and she genuinely likes them and is comfy with them. When it comes to Aman, she is thoroughly discomforted by his presence and she knows that, but perhaps acknowledges it all to the "toota hua kancha" philosophy and probably her own deep seeded insecurities.

i wanted to write the same bt messed up with lines i think 😆
what i wanted to say was she actually doesn't understand other too nicely and thinks that what she is doing is making everyone happy.she understands only people who is within her range or thinks like her like Rohan.
Aman's family is completely different and she doesn't understand that.
The moment she sees others in problem, she steps in to help actually shows her clean heart.

It's actually good to gt a character like meera,whom we are not keeping in mahaan or brat category bt we actually need to understand her nicely and have to change our thought process to understand her😆

I agree today it did go over the edge and it was slightly awkward and disturbing

Abhishek for all purpose is a sensible bad sensitive guy and to see him cross boundary and also almost not care was bit odd

Meera has always been shown as someone who perhaps does not register such serious stuff but still she also was as if she did not care

Yes you do feel bad for aman as he is ignored while other guy is getting all the attention

@AY- if you are reading this, not only do I miss you mostest but I want you to break down Meera for me and what do the writers make of her. Abhi is the only consistent and well written character for me. Love ya.
