We would like to make an announcement right away. We love dramas that are generously dipped in humour. When you throw in a genuinely engaging concept and a bunch of gifted actors, you've an easy watch on your hands. That's exactly the case with Sony TV's Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania. The plot is intriguing. It's about a family that's on the lookout for a suitable dulhania for their bade bhaiyya aka Priyanshu Jora. The show opens with the matriarch introducing the family members to a pandit who's supposed to bring the perfect rishta for her grandson Abhishek, who's popularly called Bade Bhaiyya.

The members range from a disabled badi bahu to a hardworking, yet criticising middle bahu to a look-obsessed choti bahi. Their husbands are equally funny too. While one is totally henpecked, the other pretends to be responsible but can't function without Abhishek by his side.

Add to the mess a gang of rowdy cousins and you have a full house. The dialogues are crisp and everyday-esque, filled with funny lines. The show has many cool sub-plots to explore and we can't wait for that. After all, with so much madness...the show is bound to hit the TRP charts with a bang.

Most importantly, the acting is natural and relatable. Even though Abhishek's entry is completely filmy as he slowly zooms past in his bike, his treatment is anything but that. He's shown to be responsible, obedient and caring. We don't know if one person could have all these qualities, but we are ready to overlook that for a while.

Interestingly, his love interest Meera (the dulhania) aka Namita Dubey is a complete contrast. She's lazy, moody, and not that responsible. With multiple alarm clocks also, she doesn't wake up in time for her graduation ceremomy. But that's the catch...because opposites attract.

We are yet to see their chemistry, but we are sure that it would be fun and exciting.
