that was a teen show, that act required her to be teenish, kiddish, which she is carrying over to this show. Doesn’t suit the character she is playing, in this one.

Omg I get you know she isn't able to play a mature person 🤪
Ohh I think she herself is child 🤣
Soo I get you
She looks too young and act even younger in real life soo the disconnect must be the reason 👍🏼
I really hoped she learn to act then because lol itv is all about women maturity and being maahan 😆
Here only men's are allowed to be man child

It’s not about maturity, but knowing how to deliver dialogues in a natural manner to suit the character. She speaks non-stop without taking a breath and often times it’s hard to connect with her character because she doesn’t act in a sorted fashion. I get she has a blind fan following because of her previous shows, but here she isn’t able to do justice to the role. She isn’t unbearable, but she can do better. It’s completely okay to be childlike but as an actor she must know how to perform her part better. Her character is a doormat, a pushover.

Ohh I completely agree and yes she got some big fan following that's been loyal to her eveb when she took 2 year break from the industry
It's the nostalgia alot of us have groaned up watching her show in middle/high school soo
But yes she could improve I really she does
But this show was also not like fresh it was already lead by best actors in itv and her taking over had also some repeal affect on it

Balh 2 was the second season. Season 1 although happened many many years back it was still fresh when they started S2. Nakul & Disha were bound to be compared to the Og Ram & Priya(Sakshi). We all watched without any prejudice & the leads in S2 were beyond fantastic. So people not liking Niti is not a 100% repel effect. If it was a repel effect the artist playing Pihu should also receive equal backlash. We all loved the little Aarohi/ Pihu.
In general her acting does not translate to the wow factor which is needed & are sometimes flat. Already we are not happy with this gen leap. If not for the fandom she would not have been cast in this gen leap.
