Ram and Priya had dreamt of visiting Paris for their honeymoon for years. After their wedding, they finally got the chance to explore the city of love. They landed at the Charles de Gaulle airport in the early morning, their eyes filled with excitement and anticipation.😳
As they stepped out of the airport, they were greeted by the crisp Parisian air. They hailed a taxi and headed straight to their hotel. The drive to their hotel was enchanting, with the Eiffel Tower visible in the distance.
As they reached their hotel, they were taken aback by its grandeur. The hotel staff gave them a warm welcome, and they immediately felt at home. After freshening up and having breakfast, they headed out to explore the city.
They started their day by visiting the iconic Eiffel Tower. The view of the city from the top was breathtaking. They could see the entire city of Paris, with the Seine River winding through the heart of the city. They spent the morning taking pictures and enjoying each other's company.
After the Eiffel Tower, they headed to the Louvre Museum. They were amazed by the vast collection of art and artefacts. They spent hours admiring the famous paintings and sculptures, including the Mona Lisa.
In the afternoon, they went for a stroll along the Champs-Élysées, the most famous avenue in Paris. They window-shopped at the high-end stores and enjoyed some delicious French pastries from a nearby patisserie.
As the sun began to set, they headed to Notre Dame Cathedral. The cathedral was closed for repairs after the fire, but they still enjoyed the beauty of the exterior architecture. They sat on a bench and watched the sunset behind the cathedral, creating a beautiful orange glow.
For dinner, they decided to try some authentic French cuisine. They went to a restaurant that served traditional French dishes. They started with escargots, a French delicacy of cooked snails in garlic butter. Then, they had a classic beef bourguignon, a hearty stew made with beef, vegetables, and red wine. The meal was completed with a delectable crème brûlée.
After dinner, they took a romantic walk along the Seine River. The city lights illuminated the river, creating a magical atmosphere. They saw street performers and artists and bought a painting as a souvenir for Adi & Bri.
The next day, they took a day trip to the Palace of Versailles. The palace was a symbol of French royalty and was home to King Louis XIV. They were amazed by the luxurious interior of the palace, with its grand hallways and ornate decorations. The palace gardens were breathtaking, with intricate sculptures and fountains.
In the evening, they went to a cabaret show at the famous Moulin Rouge. The show was a celebration of Parisian culture, with dancers in colourful costumes and music that made the heart race. They enjoyed a glass of champagne and watched the show, feeling as if they were transported to another era.
On their last day in Paris, they went for a walk through Montmartre, a bohemian neighbourhood known for its artistic heritage. They visited the famous Sacré-Cœur Basilica, a stunning white church on a hilltop with a panoramic view of the city.
They had a leisurely lunch at a café and enjoyed the live music performed by a local band. They strolled through the narrow streets, admiring the street art and browsing through the boutiques.
As they reached the end of their trip, they felt grateful for the wonderful experience they had shared. They had fallen in love with the city of Paris, and it had left an indelible mark on their hearts.
As they boarded their flight back home, they promised each other that they would return to Paris very soon for their second honeymoon. ❤️❤️
