How are you all? I used to watch this show and follow it regularly till the alibagh episodes before the leap. Even after the leap I saw some episodes, but I lost interest because of the same usual cliche seperation and pointing fingers story. Nakuul and Disha as Ram and Priya with their chemistry set a benchmark and was the saving grace of the show after the leap, but it will be very hard for the new cast to maintain that.

I seen some clips of the episodes here and there. Wish they showed more happy moments of Ram, Priya, Pihu and Baby Prachi. RaYa did deserve more happy moments to enjoy them longer. Kinda sad Ram and Priya had to die right after Prachi is born. But I found one thing unique is that at least they showed both Ram and Priya had a natural death and died together instead of the cliche fire burning down the mansion or falling off the cliff kind. Their death scene is gonna be so emotional.

I saw the promo of Prachi and the new male lead post the leap and it seems this generation of story is not following the usual BALH theme of mature couples in their mid 30s or early 40s. Niti and Randeep both have potential to have a good chemistry but will be hard for them to reach the benchmark set by Nakuul and Disha. It is following the ek tarfa pyaar theme which kind of reminds me of Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi (another Ekta show), even the male lead’s costume is similar to that of the male lead of Meri Aashiqui.

Its been a while. Welcome back, at least for a day. Yes, it was mentioned here that the gen leap story could be a copy of that show.

They were wondering if the male lead could be tarun or pawans son.
For me he looks like lakhans son. Dresses the same way.

Anyway, we will have to wait and see how they develop this leap.

If it only happened a month ago. The actor playing kunal could have come back to the show. If he comes back in gen leap. He’d be The uncle to nitis character whereas he played her friend in their old show

Oh yeah he played Dhruv in KYY 🤣 he was also a potential love interest in the early days 😆 imagine Niti calling him chachu here 🤣

All EK does is recycle her shows. There is no original storyline. It’s kinda sad ki Prachi will steal the limelight given how it was Pihu who brought her parents together. Pihu should have been the lead. But given how Pihu is the one who will suffer the most coz of her parents’ deaths she is bound to become hard. Maybe they wanted a role reversal here coz showing Pihu as the lead would be repeating Ram Priya story with Pihu being Priya 2.0. But I feel Pihu will be a mother figure and also a potential hurdle in the love story with her overprotective mother hen attitude towards Prachi. Nothing new. She remade BALH1 in the beginning officially and now in the leap story she is recreating MATSH. I know Disha being Disha will take a break but hopefully not a super long one. Hope to see Nakuul back onscreen soon.

Exactly! BALH2 reached it’s expiry date a long time back. I was still watching only because of the leads and Arohi even while skipping in between the most illogical and unbearable plots. Nothing else kept my interest. The writers were recycling the plots after the first leap. Since we have seen the plots recycled twice in the same show, what new can be served with the gen leap?it will most probably show a bubbly heroine, down to earth hero, one sided love, love triangle with the sisters…. role reversal of Ram and Priya. The new actors or the promo holds no interest for me, so I won’t be watching.

I am actually confused whose exactly Lakhan. I only know its the guy whose role is played by Hiten Tejwani. But my confusion is Lakhan Ram’s younger brother or just an adopted son of Swati Kapoor?! And isnt Lakhan unmarried?! I thought he had a thing with Sid’s fiance or something. I am very confused about his role actually 😆
