Three major times that BALH2 fanbase has dropped off:

1. After fish cake episode

2. Shivina's death/leap

3. After last night's episodes.

There's only so much time people have in a day. And there's no dearth of content. Wonder why it's so hard for the makers to get this thing into their heads

Such talent but wasted!

And why rake our brains why??? They have always released content to pls tv audience, online audience didn't matter, and won't matter.

So let their tv Audience watch this ADBHUT tracks these super people are writing and releasing i am going on another cleanse from this show. Last time I was gone for 2 months, those two months were the most peaceful i felt in last one year. This time i might never come back. 😌😌😌😌😌😌

I saw yesterday's episode. I went away after fish cake. Came back when the Ram-Pihu scenes started getting better and was watching on and off. Abhi lagta hai why did I even bother 🤣

If the makers wanted to attract the audience that loves this c***fest, all they needed to do was be a little more honest with the promos. The audience they have pulled for BALH is not the audience that consumes the standard ITV content. A LOT of us are here after a hiatus from ITV, just reeling us in is not enough. Last I checked online trp was only 24 which is nowhere close to the high it started on. They just don't care.

I feel so angry with the cvs after seeing people's reactions and comments. It's no point reiterating regrets for what was and what it's ended up as. It's irrelevant what they do now, the show, the leads' story, everything has been tainted beyond repair. I can't even bring myself to watch anything related that shows up on insta.

Nope, I am watching on and off. Few scenes mostly from all episodes and that too till last Friday. On Monday morning a lot of things were dropped on us starting with BTS segments of Ram getting to know the truth and then the promo where Priya declares to bring Ram back and I was like bas ab ho gaya 😆 can’t tolerate more than this. Watched yesterday’s scene coz I was eagerly looking forward to Ram getting to know about Pihu and here also they butchered Priya by getting her to say nonsense to Ishaan. The part about his family is true but Priya telling Ishaan she will never let Ram know Pihu is his daughter was sick to the next level. And weird considering she had made up her mind to tell him the truth. Now they will get Ram to hate her and maybe Pihu too coz in the promo Priya was crying for Pihu. This is sh**fest of the extreme order. This show was never made for TRP audience coz the characters were shaped in a way only urban audience could connect with them. Ram was a goofy ML who wasn’t an MCP like in those mass serials and Priya wasn’t the quintessential goody two shoes FL. The TRPs have been constant. So y butcher a show like this? Are the writers high on drugs? Can’t believe the bs I am getting to see right now. Hadh kar di in logon ne.

Ram's anger was justified. Despite all of this, Ram Priya essence was not ruined and that's why people continue to love it to this day. Even making a comparison is an insult to S1. When S2 started, I liked how they depicted Ram Priya. They were different from S1. Ram was goofy and good natured unlike Ram in S1 who was a loner and aloof. Priya here was hardened by circumstances and was cynical whereas the Priya in S1 was a good natured girl. There was nothing terribly creative about OG RaYa coz you had seen such characters before barring the age factor. S2 hit it off on a brilliant note but heaven knows why it stumbled so badly to a point of no return.

She was not proved innocent even after the accident that's why she decided to leave. Though it was a really stupid decision but priya was always remorseful about her deeds. As I said ram and priya were very mature and their little bit immaturity was nothing infront of this season's crap. Even when the serial became completely typical towards the end the essence of raya relationship was never destroyed❤️

Main reason is trps, if you ask me. They just want the good numbers to keep coming. During the S1 the Sony trps were great like above 3 and 4, just like the other top trp garnering channels. But after that phase the trps of Sony dwindled so badly that rarely shows work and even if they do they don't fair much more than 0.6 or 0.7 since almost 8 years now.

Ek shows themselves don't work half the time on Sony. Only Non fiction, Mythological and Historical shows seem to work here at present scenario on Sony. Considering all that BALH2 has been getting decent numbers despite being a fictional show. That's why they're trying to keep the trp audience hooked.

So more the drama and tears and misunderstanding, more the trps.

But when ram's step sister turned positive she was awesome. First time saw a grey character(when she was grey she was annoying😆) turning into a mature individual. She was the same modern girl but would always stand for right and love her family specially raya❤️. After vikram and neha natasha was also one of the loved characters of season 1❤️

I don't think Sony is inclined towards TRPs like other channels. Reason being they know they cannot compete with the Bhagyas, Rishtas etc. All the reigning top 5 shows are from Star and I guess the last 5 in top 10 are from Zee. The only other shows that feature in this list are TMKOJ from Sab, few reality shows from Sony and Colors. Even Colors is out of the race from a long time. There was a time when Naagin was no.1 consistently but I don't see it in the charts now.

Its been years since any Sony show featured in TRP chart. Sony has always broken the norm with shows like Beyhadh, EDKV, MDKD and these shows were known for their unique content. I remember watching Mere Dad Ki Dulhan before the pandemic and it was so fresh. Everything about it made it stand out. The sets which were realistic unlike SP or Zee where the sets are lavish and look plastic even. The outfits worn by leads was something you could relate to on a daily basis. Its not like Sony fell off the race in recent past. The last Sony fiction show that made an appearance in TRP list was KRPKAB and that too in its initial run. Their historicals and mythos have been running for a long time but the ratings are not even close to 1. So Sony had the opportunity to present a unique, improvised version of BALH. Instead they turned it into a crapfest. The TRPs were holding steady from the start at 0.5. Its not like they switched gears in the beginning to make it jump significantly. The show has been on air for a year. So its not possible to attract new viewers at this stage. At least retain the old ones na by showing a decent story?

I haven't seen past the generation leap but caught the episode where Nats gives it back to Pihu. I think you recommended me to watch that episode. Vikram and Neha were such a solid support system to Ram and Priya and its a shame that in S2, despite having decent actors like Ajay and Aanchal, they could not recreate that friend circle.
