I totally agree. Can't deny that the story is twisted, but the makers have decided to not end the show. Thus they have started this huge misunderstanding between the lead couple in a brand new angle.

One way if Ram is going for a child custody case, it's gonna be a good thing. Only for Pihu Priya was hiding about Nandini's secret. If her kid is going to be taken away from her, then only she will get out of her cowardly mode and get back at her blackmailers to keep Pihu with herself or let Ram know the real 💯 truth about why she did what she did. Till then she wouldn't open her mouth about Nandini to anyone.

Anyways if everything is sorted and there's no issue or misconceptions between the leads then they won't have much of a story to show, they would have to wrap it up. Thus they have started this.

They could have done it differently...this time around they could have focused on Priya and Nandini...and obviously there is lot to showcase on Ram and Priya as well...as coming together is one thing it is now rebuilding the relationship and focusing on Pihu...but misunderstandings always brings on the drama that allows the story to move forward...

I have an inkling another leap is on its way. Not a big one. A small one like a couple of months where Pihu will be shown living with Ram and this way they can introduce the new KM too. That’s y there were that many IVs.

I do agree. They could have showed in different other ways, obviously. First make them clear all the misunderstanding, and Priya managing to Oust Nandini in front of Ram, then Ram could have left all the wealth to them, he could leave with his real family Priya and Pihu and his friends and start from the scratch. Meanwhile run Shubham and Nandini's downfall without Ram's guidance and love. Ram and Priya being a pillar for each other through thick and thin.

Even this kind of track would have prolonged the show and also given them decent trps. But they just wanna go with the original season's custody battle I guess.

Custody battle made sense in S1. Priya will be jailed there as well but for different reasons. And by the time she is proved innocent, the jeep carrying her meets with an accident and she is presumed dead. She even comes to his place I guess but she leaves thinking its better if everyone assumes she is dead. Donno about this part coz I did not watch the show either. Just bits and pieces. Donno how she lands up in Dubai but she does and she finds out she is pregnant. Since Ram and his family already believes she is dead she decides to stay away. Ram marries her younger sister Ayesha (here the sister is a vamp) coz his step brother would have gotten her pregnant. He does this only for Priya's family sake to give that child a name. Post leap, Ram and Pihu run into each other in Dubai and they form a beautiful bond without Ram knowing her identity. Priya visits India after a long while and she runs into Ram along with Pihu and that is when Ram gets to know that Priya was alive all this while and Pihu is his child. Till that point in time he would have grieved for Priya but seeing her alive makes him angry coz she hid the truth from him especially his child and he decides to file for custody. Ram's anger was justified. Despite all of this, Ram Priya essence was not ruined and that's why people continue to love it to this day. Even making a comparison is an insult to S1. When S2 started, I liked how they depicted Ram Priya. They were different from S1. Ram was goofy and good natured unlike Ram in S1 who was a loner and aloof. Priya here was hardened by circumstances and was cynical whereas the Priya in S1 was a good natured girl. There was nothing terribly creative about OG RaYa coz you had seen such characters before barring the age factor. S2 hit it off on a brilliant note but heaven knows why it stumbled so badly to a point of no return.

The TV rating is holding on at 0.5, but the online ratings have taken a nose dive. Is anyone even tracking it?

2. Shivina's death/leap

3. After last night's episode.

There's only so much time people have in a day. And there's no dearth of content. Wonder why it's so hard for the makers to get this thing into their heads

Hey Dazzle! How r u? If anyone thought leap was the worst episode, yesterday’s beat that. I get it that no show can have a continuous happy phase but this show has broken its own record of unpleasant track runs. Tired of it. Even the comments on Sony page suggests majority of the viewers are fed up. Donno why the writers are not paying heed to viewers’ pulse. It’s not like they got a sudden spike in TRP coz of this khichdi. They r holding steady at 0.5. So y not keep at least this audience happy?
