I have some very genuine questions-

1. Inki actual job kya hai and hai bhi ya nhi? Full-time Priya ko taane maarne and part-time Shashi ki chamchagiri karne ke siwa kya karte hain ye janaab?

2. Inko Priya and fam se bas ye problem hai ki wo sab females hain? Is this reason alone for so much jehar in this saanp baap?

3. Is he still secretly in love with Priya's mom, otherwise divorce ke baad itne visits kaun hi karta hai that too to give 'advice'

There is some secret: in yesterday’s ep he said to Shashi that he’s always done everything he was told to & Shashi said Really...?
and then he suddenly got flustered and couldn’t look him in the eye & made his escape. Something shameful or embarrassing he did or tried to do but did not succeed

Well he is a typical good for nothing husband who left his wife and daughters just because they don't have son !! So what kind of character he must be!!

His main issue is how can these females survive by themsey without any help from him ..he wants to see them "gidgidao on his per "to survive and that is not happening so he always try to make them feel you females are lower than men 😡

He no where love his daughters not Priya's mom but to show them he still have control on them and they can't live without man so he is there to support them and jatao ehsaan always go there to their home..plus he can keep an eye on them too ..his new family is not giving much importance to him so he goes to Priya's mom to satisfy his male ego that he has control on female ..😡

I don't understand how anyone can be married to this man, especially his current wife. She seems like a holy terror, don't get me wrong, but I also feel like she's a practical woman who would not marry such a loser, matlab yeh aadmi kaam hi nahi karta, ghar kaise chalta hai inka?! She seems like the type to be like, 'yeah my husband is a misogynistic piece of sh*t, but he's rich af so who cares?' when Priya's dad is only qualified for that first part.

It still upsets me that Priya's mom has a place in her heart for this man, I really hoped she too would think he's a useless pile of human garbage like her daughter does.

I think he also knows that Priya gets upset whenever he shows up, especially because her mom never says anything to him, so he definitely also does it to get under her skin. One thing I appreciate that the show does is having Priya make it a point to always be 'chal hattttttt' but in a lowkey respectful way because that makes her dad even angrier because she's going off at him in such a subtle way that she doesn't do with anyone else, so it shows us that no one has ever made her as upset as this man has. It's very like 'you piss me off but I'm gonna be the bigger person which I know is gonna' drive you insane' vibes and I love that because we as an audience know how truly upset Priya is, but her dad never gets that satisfaction.

God.. just because they share a bakery, he’s got the right to spew venom in every place he sees the family.

He doesn’t pay a cent to them.. so why do they even allow him to enter their residence?

It’s 2021! Surely they can get an AVO against him as he causes them mental trauma?

Kudos to the actor though… I truly hate the character!

Makers introduced too much mysteries at the same time. I get so confused by some reactions now like this one

Exactly, he is not even like very accomplished to itna ghamand hai kis cheez ka iss admi ko?? Isko koi job karte nahi dekha except maybe gets little money for doing Shashi's dirty work and some from Priya's bakery.
