Father- daughter relationship

I was the big fan of season 1 till 5 years leap. It was a very fresh soap opera where love was shown in a very subtle way. The relationship of ram and priya which started from nok- jhok to mutual respect then friendship which slowly turned to love was shown beautifully. But for me the highlight of the show was the relationship between priya and her father. It was the most beautiful father daughter relationship on ITV till today. Her fathers love and feeling of pride for priya and the way he used to understand her deep emotion was superb. I can never forget there balcony scene in the morning discussing life while drinking tea. I am quite disappointed then this season priya's father is a good for nothing father and a horrible man. But this definitely add layer to characters. The story is quite complicated from season 1

I love how this season's story is so layered.. the characters are complicated, and you really feel for them. In just two episodes, I am totally absorbed in this story.. ye show mujhe Bada Achha lagne laga hai

Exactly, I too felt the same way. Watching Priya reminded me of Kashaf

The father part is completely like Kashaf story.Father abandoned wife because of birth of daughters.

They took the father-daughter relationship from zgh. Priya is like Kashaf and I loved Kashaf. That being said I’ll have to try not to make comparisons because it takes away from the show.

I was thinking about the ZGH angle but someone posted already so here I can share. I guess this bitterness or toxicity in Priya's life is added in S2. In S1 Ram was alone in a family but Priya had a lovely family. A dad who was a friend, a supportive brother. Only her younger sister was grey not complete vamp. But here she has got two supportive sisters but another one might be grey. But her father and step family will be complete negative towards her. Ram has more good friends this season and also more negative characters too ( his ex and her husband, sister's fiance). Overall more characters than previous season, so the parallel tracks will not move around the same people hopefully.

But here Priya's character got more layers to perform on screen. Disha looks younger for 32 but nowadays people look young onscreen than their age. So it's okay. But today when she had a scene with other two sisters, her height got noticed😲. It's a good thing as she won't need to wear heels most of the time😂.

Sari cheeze to same nai rakhenge kuch cheeze to zaroor badlenge😆. The relationship between priya and her father was one of the best thing of season 1❤️. But this season it's a complete opposite

In season 1 priya's younger sister later on turned negative😆. And the negative characters are also very relatable as such money minded, selfish and mean people do exist in real life. Ram's life is almost same but priya's life is different

I agree..The character graph is different.. Ram and Priya's characters may seem simple but like you said it is layered and every layer gives us a new insight into their life..And absolutely Priya and Ram have already created a connect and same pinch even mujhe yeh show aur iske characters bade achhe lagte hain..😉
