So here is my tippani after watching the premiere episode of Bade Achhe Lagte Hai season 2 in no particular order..According to me the show could not have had a better start..From the very first scene when Ram and Vedika graced the screens, I was hooked..From the episode I could gather that Ram is the Mr. Nice Guy and I guess people around take undue advantage of him..That is what it seemed like..
To quote a example, Vedika was dumping him yet she asked for something and Ram accepted it without even an ounce of hesitation..Another example, in the precap he wanted to rush home thinking the engagement will be delayed if he does not reach on time...But alas, the ceremony was already underway by the time he came, if this is the case then it is simple - his family does not care for him as much as he dotes on them..They might use him for what they need but they don't really value him..
Not sure if all people in his family are like that, but I hope in the Kapoor house Ram has some genuine relationships..I felt bad for Ram in the precap... This moreover shows Ram gives it all in a relationship..He is like the soft hearted innocent bachcha who will walk in the firing line if it means well for his loved ones..
Ram with his friends was a delight to watch..Their easy going camaraderie made me grin wide.. I am so looking forward for more friendly banter scenes between the 4..Because I feel that is where Ram looked his real self, without any inhibitions he was absolutely free with them..And it would be really awesome to see how these friends welcome Priya into their tribe..
Talking about Priya, she is practical and very real..And if I may add she is also opinionated..There are things she likes and then things that she dislikes, so she judges everything that way..Looks like her heart has experienced the harsh burnt of falling in love..Her bitter attitude, her pessimistic way of looking at things stems from the past hurt she has faced..And one cannot really blame her, once upon a time she must have been the dreamy girl believing in love only to be left broken..It will take time for her to heal..But I guess in Ram's company that will also happen and the actual Priya who is lost now will be found then..
I liked Sara and Priya's equation and also Priya's equation with her friend.. And it looks like Ram and Priya's siblings love life is going to create a mess for Ram and Priya..And that is how their story will start..This is very cliche way, but yet it will mark the beginning of something new..Moreover after seeing the precap where Ram's rishta is proposed for Priya, I think these two are going to start their relationship like a samjautha and later they will find their foothold and go the distance in love, being there for each other and by each other and building a life together..
Ram and Priya's phone conversation was LIT..I cracked up with unstoppable laughter..His query and her trolling him in return it was hilarious..And just with a phone conversation it can said that their story is going to be a thoroughly entertaining one..With one phone call I could see sparks flying..And by the way Ram asking for different non vegan cupcakes to be packed, it made me go all awww..Foodie Ram is too cute to handle and somehow I feel Priya too will find it hard to resist foodie Ram, let's face it isn't he the cutest..Hehe...
By the way in the future imagine a scenario where Priya is trying to placate a naraaz Ram and tempting him with food she made...That kind of scene, with Ram, Priya and different delicacies will turn out to be delicious..What say?
Last but not the last the hit and miss meeting on Ram and Priya, it was like fate gave them a chance to meet, yet it was like they met still they didn't meet..So close yet so far..It was written very well..The way Priya looked outside the auto and Ram was right there, she looked at him and he stared right back, this whole scene had a lot of symbolism..Maybe I am reading too much into it, but it still felt like their destiny is getting them together and they might have hits and misses in their relationship, they might face ups and downs, but when she looks out to extend her hand for support and to support him he will be right there to hold her hand.. Ram and Priya might come together and be tied in a relationship because of some pressure, but they will find their way, crave their relationship and build a life together..Two lonely souls, broken for world, but they hold the key to heal one another.. That is the way I look at the scenario..
And finally I am ought to say this with Priya's sarcasm and Ram's jokes I am sure they will never have a dull moment in their life..
And and and before I forget I would like to add after watching the first episode of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, I want to tell Ram and Priya and the show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain...😃
