Shardul is supporting lies even though his intentions are good. He sees through K being selfish but Ram so far "loves" K so he cannot make unilateral decisions... Also why didn't Ram and Alekha register that K now wants to come clean to Rams mom. Isnt is important to first break things off with Priya before doing anything with K. Is his business meeting more important than this mess. If he's the owner of a big bustling business, why can't he reschedule meeting saying he's ill or has family emergency?!
And wtf is priya upto?! She is doing all this to avoid a real shaadi which was harebrained enough but can she imagine the guilt Priyas parents will feel when they get her married to Ram despite his drunk coochie coo behavior with K and then her marriage ends in 3 months! They will never be able to live with themselves. As it is they'd be hurt if the marriage ended. Now even more so. As things stand Priya has no reason to marry she can say after Yuvi and now this Rams antics she's not interested in marriage anytime soon.

Agree. If Shardul is a true friend and he can see through K’s selfishness and is sure that Ram will not be happy with her, why is he not knocking some sense into Ram rather than make decisions on his behalf. Ram knowing this will not be much help either being spineless and an idiot…Also in addition to ignoring how her parents feelings would be after marriage breaks with either truth coming out or some fake story again, Priya being the “poor” middle class has no qualms having her parents spent their hard earned money on a fake marriage. But Ram should be the one handling the mess head on and he should have said- cancel meeting if he wasnt in on the plan between Alekha, Shardul..and it cant really be done by trying to sideline K. She can always create a tamasha later too...and at the end of the day she is Rams gf. So shardul cannot make decisions without letting Ram know. If Ram K can marry now, Ram may want that. Sharduls good intentions don't give him the right to interfere in something like this.

Maybe better it ends than they make it the worst balh ever. Like worse than gen leap, which would take some doing. Only thing keeping this afloat are the leads, and they, by which I mean their characters, are already making no sense, and the story even less.

Agree a 100%. I dislike this taking agency from anyone, especially when it's praised as being selfless. Not Shardul's place. It's just as wrong as what Shalini did, and, unfortunately, will be admired by most "Raya" fans. To me, most fans lack discrimination and only want situations where their vicarious desires regarding their idol or idols fructify.
I don't like Priya's nonsense excuses at all. There's no reason for her to act desperate to marry Ram. Objectively, in her situation, there's nothing to recommend Ram as a potential husband (apart from money, maybe, and she's not interested in that). She barely knows him and while I accept her concern for Shalini, should it also be a factor, it's just not enough for her being so fixated on marrying Ram.
Her dad does not look like he'd push her to get married. Her mum might, but it'd be 3 against 1. Of course, her mum could also do a Shalini to get her to agree, so I guess this is the lesser evil, but not by much.
One more thing. I didn't like the way Priya told Ram she doesn't care what he does as long as her parents (and Shalini, I guess) don't know. She's doing enough wrong to her parents as it is, and being "jokey" (I refer to the cootchie coo comment) about it is the cvs perpetuating getting cheap laughs by promoting disrespect in the relationship, fake as it is.

And, while we know it'll never happen, if Ram wants to marry Kriti, he should. Whether or not she really loves him or he really loves her, they have a relationship. Priya is nobody to him and no third person should take the onus of manipulating an outcome. It's as wrong as when evils do it.

Shardul wants Ram to get married to Priya. He is not fond of Kriti which I absolutely love.🤣 Precap mein shaadi prepone kar rahe hain... achi baat hai. Ab agle hafte dekhenge kya khichdi pakate hain ye writers.
I'm ashamed to say that I am curious about what spiel Ram feeds Priya's dad to have him all happy-shappy about the wedding.
I'm not at all happy with Shardul's manipulation. Oh for 2 sensible leads who can take sensible decisions for themselves without needing the whole world and it's aunt pushing things along!
