tbh i won’t have tried this show had it not been from balh franchise(as i loved initial episodes of both seasons) and they brought back NaSha. It was glad to see them back.

So far the first episode was decent. (yet to watch the 2nd) The diff in S2 and S3 is that RaYa are shown happier individuals this season, without any dark past so far. That positivity was good to watch. Another positive thing was that both have more supportive family this season unlike last season where they had a toxic and selfish family.

Though they showed positives which was refreshing to watch, I still feel S3’s first episode lacked something. Something seemed really missing but I don’t exactly know what it is. I kinda enjoyed RaYa’s conversation in the 2nd season more, here it seemed there could have been more.

Apart from this, I agree with all on the supporting cast. I could not connect to the supporting cast. I feel Aanchal would have been a good fit for Ram’s lady bestie this season too (I feel she could have nailed the business woman , who also is desperate to find her love character very well). None of the supporting casts really created an impact so far , let’s see what happens in the later episodes.

I guess EK made S3 to try to ‘fix’ the mistakes made in S2, or just another version of S2 with fans advices taken and all. The big plus point is that this season is finite which is the sole reason I am willing to give this show more time and interest.

I felt the same about the supporting cast except Ram’s mom. I thought everybody else were just doing their part mechanically.

yeah, he did. I think if not being poor, something big might happen to bring this Ram from the world of make believe friends to earth…

his entire interaction with Priya was just him being unnecessarily snooty, rude and ungrateful

he shows up at the clinic of the one person kind enough to respond to his urgent dentist needed request on a NY eve and he responded by judging how small the clinic is, hovering around and being a nuisance to her doing her job, pacing around getting in her way, complaining about being hungry -eating her entire cake and then not even saying thank you and assuming that her random small talk waala comment is an invitation to drop his gyaan and he does so in a condescending way and then ultimately taunting her that she may ask for more money. even if she did, it wouldnt be wrong - he is a business man afterall. its simple supply-demand. so the way he was taunting and saying- ab toh tum triple payment logi was not needed. he needed to just shut up and pay what she asked for and leave. infact since he didnt thank her , he should have paid for the cake he ate too. she wasnt obliged to offer him any cake in her clinic! and then he goes on to further pass comments on her looks as well. jhalli is a comment to refer to someone who doesnt groom themselves well na...sometimes people say it fondly. but he wasnt doing that. and honestly Priya looked pretty well kempt for someone who is at her workplace.

also who eats an entire cake like that?! he didnt even consider that if shes baked it for her bf and shes not gonna get to celebrate with her love, the least he can do is leave a portion of it and take only one piece just to handle his hangriness and hypoglycemia.

atleast if he had given one sincere thank you in the whole interaction, I'd have not been so annoyed. but he didnt value the time and effort of Priya to help his jaan- his mother when she was suffering with severe toothache. and really nothing had happened in his day to make him annoyed. he was in a good mood, he is doing well, got a new deal, he was happy with his life- so its not even like he was directing something on Priya because he was pissed about something else.

If someone has gone out of the way to not just help when you really needed it but done so without making it seem like a big deal in such a sweet, kind, professional way- the least he can do is recognize that with a heartfelt thanks.

I hope he will do so when he meets her next. because I really do not like snobbish arrogant people.

episode 1 was him being OTT and hyper and epi 2 is him being a snob. so its a letdown.

Honestly even in BALH2 I loved Priya most even when she screwed up, but for Ram my feelings fluctuated between complete annoyance and liking his goofiness and charm. and even now BALH3 - Priya remains all ❤️ but Ram so far I am not too fond of except his concern for his mother.

Priya of BALH2 was broken but beautiful. some scenes she did made me just weep. I absolutely loved her drunk performances on Rams birthday and after they meet Vedika post marriage for dinner in her house and in holi sequence when she learns Vedika truth. the dialogues she got in those scenes were heartbreaking and so well written. when she told Ram mujhe aadat hai attention naa milne ki, reject hone ki- uff I just wanted to hug her. when she asks him - kya mein khadus hun and explains why she is so tough and how she saves for her little sister Sandy - again I just wanted to hug her. and the holi scene was top notch. and then there was a convo on terrace where she says I wish I could have got psychiatric help, I wouldnt be so bitter and how she regrets not taking Meera to Manali because paise nahi the. Many such moments have just stuck with me. She was SO good in them all.

I am glad she is happier this season overall. but heartbreak is coming soon :(

I think the universal sentiment is that expectations are high if its only a finite show. so if they mess up a finite series also like they did with BALH2 , then I really have no words for them. if its finite, they should have a clear vision and therefore no time for random drag and unnecessary MUs.

I am waiting for the next episode to actually connect to S3 Ram too. Something was missing in his act this time even though I like his acting.I couldn’t figure if he was happy with his friends, trying to be a snob in front of less rich people…. There was a huge disconnect from where he was shown as a kind hearted and available to help his friends and coworkers, to the ungrateful, rude personl presented himself in front of Priya.I hope the story is fast paced since it’s finite…I really like the soft but practical Priya of this season. I like her because she’s less cynical 😁

Wait till her taunts start 😂

But, this Priya could become more khadoos when her belief in love breaks due to her impending breakup.

I read an IV of disha where she said that this Priya will be more strong willed than S2 Priya I feel she won't be bitter like S2(as she has a loving father &supportive family)but won't believe in love or marriage after the betrayal (more like S1 Ram)they have shown a role reversal snoring promo too so chances of her being like S1 Ram are more she's likely to lose faith in love &will marry Ram only as a compromise to appease her family

I wish I could trust their definition of "strong", and I wish I could trust in the cvs's to not turn a strong character into... something else.

As I already said, so tired of these compromise/majboori marriages, but what to do? I'd really like for her not to "lose faith in love" in the way serials portray; be shocked, upset, angry, sad, but be practical and carry on without drama, please. The chai promo gives me hope that she's not going to do a devdas(i).

Saw the first episode. I know it's just meant to establish the characters and their dynamics, but it was underwhelming (and that's me being polite).

Too much hype over Mr. Best Businessman. For me, less, and more subtle, would've maybe worked better, but we'll let it go. Someone in the know please tell me how realistic it is that a food app can leverage a company to that extent. Did I miss something? Is it a more diversified business?

I liked the guy best friend. Ajay would've been great, but I can understand why they needed a new face. I again felt too much blah blah to establish Ram's character, but okay.

Why is our hero lonely? He apparently has a nice mum, at least two good friends; and why not more friends? To me this is just reinforcing my first impression that they want to make Ram a poor not-so-little nouveau riche guy. Why? To please the fans who love being bleeding hearts over NM? The better to mitigate his behaviour? (I'm thinking of a different version of Angiras and cheque throwing. Just don't.) The set up rings false for multiple reasons, but, sigh, let it go.

What was that behaviour of Alekha over Yuvraj? Maybe I'm antiquated, but aren't there any steps between liking someone and "proposing" to them with absolutely no information about their personal life? Still, I quite liked Alekha. I didn't dislike Yuvraj either, because to me it was one of the halfway realistic moments, to be seduced by what someone offers, in spite of being in a relationship. It isn't good, but it's understandable, given today's climate and the mad rush to succeed, which is usually measured in money (yes, looking at Ram). Yuvraj didn't seem Neeraj nasty, but who knows?

Priya was okay. My question about the cake remains. Also, how bad a cook is she if a cake took her 8 hours? No MasterChef for Priya. Maybe she treasures it so, enough to carry wherever she goes, because of the effort it took. Priya's basic nature and family dynamics were quickly established and less contrived than Ram's.

Don't know if I forgot anything, but now I'm suddenly done with writing about it.

Ram is depicted as a spoiled teen so we can see growth later on. Even the precap already talks about it.

Ram says words of love, and Priya is again outside the door, and only she will open an adult loving man in Ram
