The hit Jodi of small screen, who together had garnered TRPs for the channel like never, is making a comeback after 6 years but on the web platform. Yes, we are talking about Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, who is soon going to be seen in a web series titled Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat by ALTBalaji. They are the most popular couple of television, and much loved by the viewers. Returning together after a long gap of 6 years, Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor in an exclusive chat with the Celebmantra.com talked about their latest venture in the world of digital entertainment, their chemistry and future projects.

What are the new element in the show for the viewers, as the trailer of Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat' reminds us of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain'
The characters are totally different, including the premise and the set up. If you look at the old show, you might find something new in this one or may be even more than what you expect. There are many beautiful moments in the show. It is a level higher than the previous one.
Do you fear failure this time around since digital is a new medium?
Not really. On the contrary, we are quite confident that we have the same audience coming and watching this as well. We were fortunate with Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' that it went on to become such a popular and a hugely loved show. I am happy doing this. This is a new medium, new territory, this is an experiment and I want to do it. Both Ram and I were loved as a couple. This is a tested thing so we are confident about it Sakshi said.
Sakshi, since you have been a part of films, TV and web series, would you do a saas-bahu saga now?
It will depend on the character. If I get to play a character which will help me grow as an actor or explore some streak of my personality that has not been touched before, for that challenge or thrill, I may.
Ram, is this the USP of your jodi that always bring you back together?
I honestly believe that two things you need, whether it is Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol or anybody, is that they both should be good at their work and comfortable with each other. I think, luckily, we have that. That's the biggest thing. As an actor, that gives you the power to expose your extremes, to let go, which can happen only if you have a comfort level, because I know she can handle and vice-versa.
Adding to Ram's statement, Sakshi said, "Also, not only the character we have portrayed but the people we are in real, we are poles apart. We think like east-west, north-south. So, I guess that translates very well into the characters. We have tremendous respect for each other."
Ram further said "As an actor, you shouldn't differentiate between the mediums. I have worked in television for ten years, back then no one wanted to be in television serials. Now, TV has become cool but back then it wasn't looked as a big medium but I gladly did television because for me the platform did not matter, and I never will. Jahaan accha chance mile, jahan acche logon ke sath kaam karne ko mile, whether it is film, web or theatre, I won't mind."
Sakshi, do you think the youth that watches the content on web series would be as appreciative of your jodi? As your chemistry with Ram is loved by the telly viewers which comprises mostly of families.
I am personally not on social media, but Ram and Ekta keep telling me that there are loads of people out there who in the last two and a half years, ever since Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' got over, have been constantly messaging them. They want to know when we will return as a couple. So, I am confident that at least those people will watch this show.
What are the future projects, you are looking forward after the success of Dangal'?
There are offers that I am considering. But after doing Dangal', I don't want to do anything that can dilute that effect. I am happy to maintain that for the time being. It was in the pipeline much before Dangal' got released. I have never done more than one thing at a time. After Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii', I took a three-year break and after Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' I took a two and half year's break. Honestly, currently I am on my break period but since it was a prior commitment, I am honoring it.
