Rashmi Sharma's thriller Kabhi Socha Na Tha will replace Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na from February 9th...
Sony's Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Naa after going thro' a series of downs will finally go off air on February 5th 2009.
Giving us a confirmation on the same is Sanjay Upadhyay, Fiction Head, Sony, "Babul will wind up on February 5th and a new show Ek Safar Aisa...Kabhi Socha Na Tha will take its place".
Kabhi Socha Na Tha which was earlier titled Suhaagan is produced by Rashmi Sharma, the maker of Star Plus' Raja Ki Aayegi Baarat, and will launch on February 9th.
Talking about the concept of Kabhi Socha Na Tha, Sanjay Upadhyay states, "The feeling of treading the unknown is what the essence of the story is. It is a roller coaster journey of a young girl who finds a floating unconscious body of a man and sets out on a journey in search of his identity. The show is full of thrill and intrigue and many questions unanswered. Whether the vulnerable protagonist Ganga is able to meet the end of her search forms the crux of the story".
The lead role will be played by Maninder and Jayshree. Other prominent names in the show are Pankaj Dheer, Neelu Kohli and Rinku Ghosh who was earlier seen in Durgesh Nandini.
We tried calling Rashmi Sharma, but she was unavailable for comments.
