Didn't you think the daadi would be nicer?

After watching the promo for the show atleast a gazillion times, its seemed that the daadi was kind of sweet and nice. But after watching yest's epi, i realized she doesn't like her at all. What did you guys think? And do you think the daadi will eventually end up liking her?(like the mother in Vivaah?)
