Todays episode continued where they left off last week, Baby overhears
Dimple screaming with pain. She asks who it is, Aneesh lets go of
Dimple's hand. Baby asks Dimple what happened, suddenly Baby notices
that Dimple's hand has gotten red. Dimple says that an insect bit her,
when Baby mentions this to Aneesh he says "keede pade us keede ko"
😆 . Aneesh gives Baby a gift and tells her that she may not like the gift
at first but she should read the letter.
Baby is about to open the gift when gatoo comes there. He wants to see
baby's gift but baby wants to open it in privacy. Gatoo feels hurt and baby
relents and asks him to sit there while she opens the gift, It is a pair of
sandals. Baby is annoyed at first and then she reads Aneesh's note, he
says that he wishes to see Baby walk like a normal girl. Baby wears the
sandal and tries to climb down the stairs without her crutches with help
from Gatoo and support from the children of the house. Later she talks to
Gatoo who is putting cream on her bruised feet and she says that she will
walk in the sandals again and thinks of aneesh
Lila is talking to her husband ( I am sorry I forgot his name). Lila asks him
why he did not eat any ladoos and Ba enters and says that he did not eat
because he had not contributed his share this month. He denies this and
says that he was worried about Dimple and says that someone(lets call
them Mr. Shah) had sent a marraige proposal for Dimple. Lila was
dismayed by this and says that one of Mr. Shah's familty members was
mentally retarded. Ba yells at her for saying this and says taht someone
can call Gatoo mad too. Lila is apologetic. Ba tells Lila's husband that
Baby should get married before Dimple and tells him that he should talk
to Mr. Shah about Baby instead.
Next day Ba is eagerly awaiting mota bhai's (Lila's husband) Subodh asks
her what the matter is and Ba tells him. Just then Mota bhai comes home.
Ba asks him what Mr Shah said and mota bhai tries to avoid giving an
answer and keeps saying that they will get a better boy for Baby. Ba keeps
asking why Mr Shah rejected the proposal and mota bhai is forced to tell
Ba that Mr. Shah refused because of Baby's polio. ba is hurt by this but
Subdh tells her that it will be difficult to ger a normal boy for Baby and
they have to accept that and so does Baby. Ba is arguing with Subodh
about this, but Baby who has heard everything tells Ba that Subodh is
right and that Baby herself should stop dreaming. Just then Ba notices the
sandals on Baby's feet. Baby takes them off and walks off on her crutches.
