Article: Men here spent more time on makeup!

It was celebration time on the sets of Baa, Bahu and Baby as the popular serial recently completed 500 episodes.

After working together for almost four eventful years, the group of cast and crew is more close knit than ever. Celebrating Baa's birthday, the entire Thakkar family, dressed in all their finery came together to wish the matriarch of the enterprising family. By the way, the men here seemed to spend a lot more time on makeup than the women! Arriving first on the sets after a quick lunch break was Rajesh Kumar followed by Sonali Sachdev, Suchita Trivedi and Benaf Dadachandjee who chose to sit on a swing while waiting to be called for the shot.

As the rest of the cast arrived, giving themselves final touches of makeup, (the men fussing on their makeup even more than the ladies!), there was much camaraderie among the actors with J D Majethia, Deven Bhojani and Sarita Joshi keeping everyone in splits with their witty one liners. With a boisterous atmosphere, the cast took just one take to get the shot right as they gathered around in a circle, singing Happy Birthday to Baa (Sarita Joshi)!
