@bold - Not more than me 😉😉

Whom do u hate the most? Karna or Dury or Yudhi (excluding DuNi of Chandal chaukdi gang as they are gems, bulls of Bharata and Gandhar race ❤🤗)

I will anyday prefer Dury over Yudi and Karna both (I know you prefer Yudi the most among three great men)

Among Karna and Yudi it will be a tough competition but Yudi is a Dharmatma so inches ahead. Karna would be the bottom most

DuNi and Ashwathama fall way below Karna and among those if at all to be selected it would be Shakuni for me. Dusshashan and Ashwathama are the worst. Hate too is a small word for them.

The order could be

1) Duryodhan(not as a king he would have destroyed everything but only as a human, as a king definitely Yudhishtir is better by miles)

2) Yudhishtir

3) Karna

4) Shakuni

5) Dusshashan and Ashwathama, can't select anyone among these. Worst of the lot. No personality

Three great men 😂😂😂😂😂

See all know about my love for Karna here, but there's something that I like about him:

His loyalty to Duryodhan (his intent was not bad when he promised Kunti- that's a little harsh to say, he did try to fulfill his mother's wishes as well, IK that's betraying Duryodhan but he did his best imo- also he knew Yudhi should be king so technically he did a favour. I have come to terms with this)

This shows me that he did have some good intentions in this case (only here) 😂😂

And I prefer Yudhi because Dury had commited wayy too many crimes to be a king. He might have been a just ruler but he was greedy and extremely revengeful and violent imo. That is the reason i prefer Yudhi as king. However if u ask me, none of the two are very deserving. Kurukul is doomed 😂

Just checked, while the mahasamar series is like his version of MBH, the Sairandhri book seems to be standalone. Book six of the series called Pracchann deals with Virat parva. But Sairandhri is maybe focussed completely on Draupadi?

In any case, the description of the first book says Yudhisthira is the real hero of MBH which makes me raise my eyebrows.

Oh! Even I checked the series and looks like Sairandhri is indeed a standalone version.

If by hero, author means main male protagonist, he is right. It doesn't have to necessarily mean Yudhishtira is heroic.

Checked some of the reviews of the series and in the Dyut Sabha book, the author is highly sympathetic to Yudhisthira and tries to explain away his sins.

So no, not really looking forward to read it now

I haven't read any book on Mahabharata

Can anyone suggest a book with detailed analysis of war, strategies, weapons etc?

Aryavarta Chronicles. By far the best for politics, strategies, war tactics.

Which book is this?

Many Bengali authors like Rajshekhar Basu and Bankim Chandra Chattopaadhyaay also are huge Yudhi fans.

You can read any that appeals to you but just a suggestion- don't take it as the truth.
