And the Oscar goes to
These 5 words were more than enough to change the lives of the people who were present at the Oscars. The 85th annual Academy Awards had finally arrived. It was time for the Movie makers to celebrate and compete against the top nominations. Although the telecast did began at 6 am IST, I am sure that most of the Movie fans would have seen it LIVE. But those who might have missed this event, don't worry we have captured the best moments in this post. Hope you can relive those amazing moments.
7 moments that have made this years Oscars Special:
- Seth MacFarlane was the Host for Oscars this year and did receive a warm welcome by audiences all over the globe.
- Paperman won Best Animated Short Film. Just FYI – It's a black and white film.
- The youngest and oldest ever to be nominated in the Best Actress category were in competition today – Emmanuelle Riva, 85, is up against Quvenzhane Wallis, 9, for her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild.
- This year they're not the 85th Academy Awards, at least not officially — they're justthe Oscars this year.
- Michelle Obama introduced the nominees for Best Picture from White House.
- George Clooney, a co-producer of Ben Affleck's best picture favorite Argo, joinsWarren Beatty as the only person having been nominated for best picture, directing, acting and screenwriting.
