Amul Music Ka Maha Mukabla Result

The excellent music show ended on 20th night , the performance of both the teams on the finale night was much below the expected high standard as we had tasted much better and more melodious shows by both the teams earlier on. The medley by both the teams were the most affected features, could have been much better, probably our expectations had been raised by these two captains.

I am writing this comment not because my high expectations during the finale was slightly jolted but I was shocked at the manner by which the performance was judged.

Mr. Javed Akhtar, may be a good lyrics writer but how can he judge such a prestigious and high standard music competition that also on a national level, what is his qualification to sit with music giants and judge excellent performers like Shaan and Shankar Mahadevan. I am sure that he was biased to the core, either he was against Shaan or heavily favouring Shankar points to Shaan when others were giving 90 to 100% points. Alka Yagnik, the best female singer of present era, openly objected to Javed's markings. Few of my friends remarked that Javedji must have done this to get favours from music director and producer Shankar Mahadevan.

Otherwise also Javed Akhtar is a short and ill tempered person who is high headed , talks and behaves in a very obnoxious way on television and there are many previous instances of this. 😡

Shaan got more votes from all over India, this should have been the final decision and no one can overlook this. Voting by a few hundred people present during the show was given more weightage, was it done purposely as everyone knew that Shaan has always been getting more votes and Shankar was getting the least .

It is not that Shaan has lost and Shankar has won but the big question is - was it done rightly, was is unbiased, I and my friends feel that it was not so.

Gajendra Singh, a matured producer , director of the best musical shows of Indian television has to answer this.
