Ideal end for astitiva ek prem kahani

i think ajay sinha should have ended the serial when aastha returns back from kiran. aastha realising that kiran was purposefully trying to use her to trouble simran and simran truly loved her as her own daughter. infact they could have just shown- after 10 years and shown sia and sid happily married to each other and aastha also married to a doctor and she herself becoming a world- famous gynaec just like her mom. i think that would have been really nice and would have left a feel-good feeling. but, ajay sinha wanted to drag it on for some more time and in the end , he kind of hurriedly finished off after all those complications.

it would have been really nice with the whole family together. but now, he's killed aastha and then yash entered and all that drama (which was most unnecessary) and then, simran like a devi accepting yash as her son and all that is crappy. simran losing her eyes and then, saakshi had to be killed to get back simran's eye sight; i think all that was not necessary. what do u guys think?????

Yes, completely agree, all that you related was highly unnecessary to be shown.. In fact if you ask me, I think Astitva should have ended pre-leap!! I hate the crap about leaps and couples reuniting in their 50s and all.. What about Simran's wasted 18 years?

i do agree with your comments to a certain extent, however i feel simran being blind was another challenge in her life which showed how she remained true to her astitva ... and as an actress im sure niki felt this was a great opportunity for her ...

i think the blind story came out well...and yes it could have ended with aastha coming back, however then it would have been like a typical story and not be realistic i feel... the turn the story took had a sense of realism, as in this world, death is a part of life, and simran had to face it too.

thats my opinion anyhow!

You are right but Simran has already faced So many deaths of her loved ones that I felt Aastha's death was uncalled for:-) In my opinion only though..

i agree with you...that would really be a good idea...

thats a great part to end at, but actually....there were a million different places that they could have finished astitva, and they would have made the soap so meorable....for example when aastha was born and abhi left kiran....or when neha died....etc.

hi thr...astha had to die becoz the artiste wanted to quit the show, as she wanted to concentrate more on her filmi career.

by the way folks, ASTHITVA finally ended on 13th January.
this is the only serial i used to watch religiously, as its much much better serial than "K" serials on othr channels..almost natural acting, no melodramas...in fact i am missing the show!
btw, both Abhi( varun badola) n simran( niki aneja) got best actor n actress awards in a recent award cermony!
