Can you recognise these celebrities?
The new year brings a new show on television, with a whacky concept. Celebrities will disguise themselves in this comical Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano, to be anchored by Kavita Kaushik, and hoodwink common people at pre-decided locations. The show will not have judges or eliminations. Every week, one celebrity will win the title of Master of Disguise, which will be decided by contestants themselves. The finale will be decided by an audience poll. We take a look at the celebrities, who may pull a prank on you very soon!
Mona Singh
Mona Singh's claim to fame was the popular soap Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi. She went on to win two reality dance shows, Jhalak Dikhla Ja and Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena even though she confesses to have two left feet. Mona will make her movie debut in Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots, with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
"The show is humorous, no elimination, no judges and fun," Mona says. "I was made bhakra several times by my friends and on TV shows. I used to try gags on my mother but now have got an opportunity to try it on people. I have done dance shows and soaps. This is the first time I will do a standup comedy show in disguise."

Mandira Bedi

Actor-TV presenter-model Mandira Bedi has been there and done all that! She made her TV debut in Shanti, followed by a bit role in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Mandira returned to television as a vamp in the popular soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and anchored reality shows like Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar.
"I was a judge of a comedy show but this is different and nevertheless challenging for all of us," Mandira says. "I was very nervous when I played a gag on a youngster in a restaurant. I thought he would recognise me by my eyes. Another gag was on a celebrity but both didn't recognise me. It is risky because there are no lines and one has to go with the flow."

Shweta Keswani

Shweta shot to fame as the glamorous vamp in Des Main Nikla Hoga Chand and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. She was one of the strongest contestants in the third season of Nach Baliye, and tickled your funny bone in Baa Bahu Aur Baby.

"I was very choosy about the kind of shows I take up so was left with less options," Shweta says. "I took up this show because it is really different and challenging. It is very easy to make people cry but not laugh. It is a huge task because there is no format and anything can happen when you play pranks but it's fun."
