In Radhika's serials, all female characters except herself must be flawed, whether they are blindly loyal to their husbands (e.g. Saro), ungrateful to their mothers (e.g. Kalai, at the beginning), scheming (e.g. Selvarani, Ceylonmani etc.) The notable exception is the foolish Chelvi, who is less questioning of Mr. V's motives than his own wife!
Or has she just been given a sleeping drug. Whatever it is, her belief in hubby will be completely gone ... if she ever wakes up!
