State awards for Radhika and Kushboo

'Selvi', the television serial starring Radhika, has won the State government's first prize in the small screen awards category for the year 2006. The award comprises of Rs 2 lakhs, a memento and a certificate.

Kushboo was adjudged best actress for her role in the serial 'Kalki'. The second prize has gone to 'Sorgam' produced by AVM. Another serial, 'Alli Rajyam,' by Vikatan Tele Vistas, has won the award for the best weekly serial. Each will get Rs one lakh, a memento and a certificate.

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi will present the awards. However, the date of the award function will be announced later.

Thiruchelvam, director of the serial 'Kolangal', has been selected for the best achiever award. Rani Somanathan has won the lifetime achievement award. Other awardees include Prem (editing), Kiran (music director), Ravi Sankar (playback singer), Pramila (playback singer) and Eswar (trick scenes in 'Sindubadh').

Awards for year 2006 on 2008?😆😆 those people most be really lazzy butts like me 😆 anyway...congrats to Radhika for winning a award...but have to admit Selvi was not her best ones😕

not really mels Selvi was the best of all the serial. It had combination plus a very good storyline. I like how the potrayed a family from sri lanka leave there due to terrorism and money problem and how they came to chennai and started to a new beginning with all the problems.

I think selvi was won for its story plot and acing.

But out off all of Radika serial right now in my own oponion would be all of them.

if i had to rank her serials

1st place: arasi, chithi and Selvi⭐️
2nd place: annamalai

hehe 😆 Selvi started good until two wife business come in 🤢 Only those scenes from Sri Lanka was good..otherwise...I hated the plot.

I will go for Chiti and Arase 😉

Agreed about Annamalai 🤢

Yeah, Selvi was interesting at the start, but then it was following the steps of the other serials - dragging and so on!!😡 Chittie was and still is my fav. serial of all time!!👏

what did thols receive an achiever award for?? what exactly has he achieved except our annoyance and playing merry go round with his serial???? 😡
