Because balh-2 is not going off air,
Sony and Zee merger is finalized they are expecting more audience, as on both the apps content will be made available vice versa, ZEE5 to SonyLiv and SonyLiv to ZEE5
Balh2 off air rumours have surfaced every now and then. And all off-air news start off as rumours and become reality one day.
Plus, Zee-Sony merger may increase online trps, but off-air decisions are primarily dictated by tv trps. Not sure of the impact of the merger on tv viewership though. In general, tv audience in India don't watch Sony fictions as per the ratings. And not everyone pays to view shows on apps, as free rides are easily available on YouTube.
And shorter shows are impactful than long never-ending shows as beyond a point there is no innovative content, that too from BT absolutely not. Anyways, viewers who love watching such content, good luck to them.
I personally, as I mentioned earlier, expected more from Appnapan. Infact quit watching for a while till that Nikvi marriage BTS surfaced. I just wish the story improves or atleast ends on a happy note without unnecessary dragfest and cringe tracks. But, regardless of the trps, if the show is going to go on and on, then..............🤮

As a BALH1 fan, I believe BALH2 shouldn't have happened at all. 🤣 But, they cashed in on not just the RaYa craze but also Nakul-Disha (I remember they were a rage as Adi-Pankhuri, even during the OG Bade was at its peak), yet, we are seeing it fail every week.
So I think Sony has just lowered it's expectations on dailies to bring in the TRPs. KBC and KNWK are just about doing that job right.
Both the BT shows are actually doing well on the online charts. I know Appnapan has been out of top 20 for 2 weeks now, but we can't ignore the fact that it made its place there since the beginning, not an easy task for a show that is not at all promoted well. So, there's still hope. 🤞🏼
This absolutely doesn't mean that I want Appnapan to go on forever and become an irrelevant dragfest. But I think an year at least would be reasonable time for a show on ITV. 🙈

I can't even begin to say how disappointed I'm with them because during IKNMP, the younger actors would be extremely active on Snapchat. 🙈
