Star Vijay is all set to launch a new television show, Pagal Nilavu, a next generation story of Andal Azhagar. According to the series, Revathy returns to her native as collector after 20 years with her son Karthik (Revathy - Shakthi's son). Karthik doesn't know anything about his family. His arrival to the town makes him explore everything about the past. He comes to know about his father Shakthivel who is a minister now and his step mother Malar & step brother Prabhakaran. He pledges to take revenge on Shakthivel and his family and grows enmity towards Prabhakaran.
