OK, here is what I found on the Indiaglitz.com website:

'Nama Kudumbam' Serial Launch
[Friday, July 13, 2007]

The inaugural pooja function of Television serial titled 'Nama Kudumbam'. Directed by Sundar K Vijayan, the serial stars Kushboo, who lit the kuthuvillaku and Sakshi Siva. Music is by Isaignani Ilayaraja.

Nama Kudumbam is produced by Ever Smile Enterprises.

Meli, did you see him in the pooja photos. I saw some of the photos but no one who looks like him in any of those photos.

I guess a lead role in the serial will keep him away from Anandham for most of the time, hence the "Delhi assignment". Actually, Cheyar should quickly plan for a reconciliation between Priya and ACD and then they can relocate to Delhi after their marriage ;-) Shankar can get promoted to AC and he can take on the task of bringing all the crooks to justice.

Mmm, Bon, the story was great as usual, I'll go to bed content. I dont think Nethra is going to fall for Arjun so easily, but I loved the story. And his new seria Nama Kudumbam,though I'd love to see him in a lead role, i'm definitley not too excited about his pairing with Kushboo either. Nethra is definitely better, of course nobody to beat Priya.

More on the new serial saakshi siva is to play a lead role in. Its not Jaya or Sun tv, but supposedly kalignar tv. There is no mention of saakshi siva's name here, but still...

Kushboo's Nama Kudumbam

Actress Kushboo inaugurated Mega-serial titled Nama Kudumbam. Popular Cine artist Kushboo was asked by Kaligner Tv to organize a Mega serial. Kushboo who have enough in small screen accepted to do a lead role in this film. Sundar.K Vijayan is directing this serial and co-produced by E.Ramadas, besides Music legend Illayaraja is likely to tune background for this Tele-serial.

Behind the screen, Ponchandra handling the camera, dialogue by Sai Prakash, story, screenplay by Raj Prabu and Public Relation Officer was chaired by Nikil. The shooting is likely to resume in Chennai within short notice.

Can somebody look at the photo at the following link and confirm that the bloke standing next to Kushboo is not Saakshi Siva (sans makeup)?

bon i observed the picture carefully. it is most definitely not saakshi siva.😛

I saw the launch photograph of kushboo serial. The person who is wearing blue T shirt is NO WAY connected with saakshi neither in looks nor in height.
